I’m a student of business psychology currently living in Denmark, but Split is where I was born and raised—and where my heart still is. My family and I share our home with a silly dog named Cody (whom you’ll meet and adore) and several friendly cats (Cody’s best pals). Hosting is a true family affair: I handle online communication, my sister Ivana is on-site to welcome you, my mom makes sure nothing’s missing, and my dad loves treating guests to his homemade cherry liquor, olive oil, and fresh tomatoes. We love hosting because it brings us closer together, and for a short time, you become part of our family and neighborhood too.

Why they chose this property

I can’t really take credit for choosing this neighborhood—my great-grandparents did that for me back in 1958. They moved from the Dalmatian villages to Split, lured by the city’s energy and opportunities for a better life. Over the years, this spot has been the backdrop to countless family stories: it started off as a tiny hut with a chicken coop and later became my late grandpa’s lively bar, where neighbors would gather each night for cards and camaraderie. Now, it’s a peaceful place where you and I can slow down, unwind, and appreciate the history that makes it so special.

What makes this property unique

Parking on-site—trust me, in Split that’s a rarity! The apartment itself is fully equipped for cooking enthusiasts, with enough pots, pans, and gadgets to whip up just about anything. You can skip packing towels and linens (even beach towels!) because we provide more than enough. If you ever need something extra, just let me know and we’ll take care of it right away. And finally, there’s our homemade produce: extra-virgin olive oil, dad’s special liquors, and fresh veggies straight from the garden—who could say no to that?
