My two boys and I had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the wildlife & the golf courses. It was our first trip visiting Fripp and I know we will be back! Only one complaint we had was our shower never was hot..But we all managed!

The room smelled worse than rotten fish. There is one towel rack next to the sink that is not broken. You will want to bring extra beach towels and/or a sheet to hang on the rusty nail over the window so that you will have privacy from the outside. The toilet was stopped up upon my arrival. No one was available to speak to for 16 hours. I spent 20 hours attempting to have the issue fixed. The woman I spoke with twice could not have cared less that I was without a toilet. She made no effort to care or send someone to fix it. I ultimately had to leave the property. I was refunded all of my money. However, I do not want any other poor traveler looking for a relaxing space to end up in the mess that I did. Fripp Island is a place my family has frequented for 30 years. This property is not up to the standards I always remembered Fripp Island for. Renters beware!

Great location on the Island. We had a view of the pool from our room. Parking is tight and limited but since we were visiting on off season we didn't have issues finding a spot. I noticed the floors were quite dirty when we got there. I used paper towels to wipe up some greasy looking stuff by the couch and the towel was black with filth. The kitchen and other areas of the suite seemed clean. The bed was very soft and worn. This caused us to sink towards the middle of the bed while we slept. We were without hot water our last night which caused us to have to take cold showers. I messaged the host and never heard back as to what happened.

This island and VRBO were beautiful. The room was exactly as described and communication was easy. I did rent a golf cart which I didn't use much, but if you're planning on going golfing, to the animal center, etc., I would recommend it. Parking really was awful, I didn't move my car after I parked it. Because parking was so bad, unloading and loading the car was difficult. This is also not a handicap accessible location. You can get to most of the resort but this particular unit is on the second floor and there's no elevator. There were two of us staying here and one of us used the pull out couch which was very uncomfortable so she just slept on the couch not pulled out. The kitchen was fully stocked and ready to go- just add groceries. Overall it was a very good time and everyone was very friendly.
