OP trip
Peaceful, comfortable spot after spending the day hiking and exploring the OP. The attention to detail and decor far exceeded any other spot we’ve stayed.

Beautiful area
This cabin is beautiful. Surrounded by trees and the view of the river is peaceful. If you watch a lot of true crime documentaries like me, leaving the bedroom side of the cabin to walk outside to the main cabin in the middle of the night to use the bathroom can be scary. Fortunately during our week stay, we didn’t not encounter any animals or other people in the night. The cabin was super clean, fresh linens and towels, great kitchen space.

After searching for many years, my husband and I found this riverfront property. You would not recognize it today. It was one small building with a small deck. The building was sloping to one side. With the help of Bob from Forks, we steadied the original building and added the bunkhouse. Bob taught us a 'few additional skills' which allowed us to complete all of the finish work. The large window facing the river is only remaining original fixture in the cabin.

Personally, this cabin is an important place for us and our family. Our sons, daughter-in-laws, young grandchildren, and many friends have had memorable moments at Fishermen's Hollow.

Why they chose this property

This property provides privacy and easy access to the town of Forks. The decorations have been collected for many years providing a cozy environment.

What makes this property unique

The logic behind separating the bunkhouse from the main cabin was to allow the early risers the option to go to bed while the night-owls stay up! It works out well.

The covered decks (in front and back) have hooks to hang wet gear or bring fishing poles, etc., under cover.

During the summer months, the river warms up and is fun to tube. If you start from the cabin, you can get out at the Bogachiel River bridge and walk back to the cabin on Hwy 101.

The cabin is 7 miles from the Hoh Rain Forest turnoff on Hwy 101. By driving 30 minutes south or north, you can be at various Pacific Ocean beaches.
