Private,Quiet, cabin,on 27 acres,w/ trails. near the Hoh Rain Forest Nat' l Park.
Hello. At this time of the corona virus outbreak. Here are some reassurances about my place.I am on the West end of Jefferson County. 65 miles from Port Angeles and 110 miles from Aberdeen. The closest town is Forks and that is 15 miles away. There is a large grocery store. I am isolated, with no super close neighbours and in the middle of 27 acres of pristine forest land. I have my own well and I have it tested every year. My crew of helpers are doing a great job of keeping the property clean and comfortable. We get lots of great comments about this. Our favorite comment..."We can't wait to come back". The decks, gazebo, huge yard ,and the wonderful trails are really fun to relax around. And so quiet too.

Our host was wonderful and made us feel very welcome and took great care of us! A place to come back to over and over! It is also ideally located for the Hoh rainforest and many beautiful beaches.
Kamala was an excellent host! We enjoyed our short stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer! Very comfortable beds and convenient to the Hoh rainforest and beaches.
As always, this cabin doesn't disappoint. Its so cozy and there is so much to do in and around the property. The trails are breathtaking. The cabin has all the supplies you could want and then some. Kamala is so nice and helpful. We've stayed here several times, and hope to stay againg. Well worth the price. This is our happy place!
We loved staying at the Hoh Valley Hideaway! Kamala was so helpful with recommendations and was so kind. Letting us know to get to the park early made our time inside Hoh rainforest so peaceful! Try the outdoor shower (it’s divine) and walk the trails on the property! Lovely cabin, very private, and magical!
Wonderful stay this year again. Enjoyed the trails on property with the kids. Beautiful mosey big trees on property. We always enjoy the outdoor shower.

Kamala is an absolute joy and this place is a gem. The cabin is cute and cozy and well-stocked. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and gazebo. The best part is the rainforest trail which is absolutely magical. We had so much fun at the Hideaway!
Lovely property not far from forks with beautiful scenery, trails, and a short drive to tide pools and Hoh rain forest. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place .
My Mother and I thoroughly enjoyed this gem in the Hoh Forest! Was a quiet, private, beautiful and lush piece of property. Loved the outdoor shower, all the flowers, the gazebo and especially all the trails surrounding the property. Kamala was a wonderful, kind host. She has put so much hard work in this lovely piece of property and lovely cozy cabin. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Kamala for sharing your wonderful cabin and property with us!!
Kamala, our host, was so amazing! She gave some great tips and advice and was very hospitable. Communication with her was amazing and she was very responsive. We would love to come back. You don't even need to leave her property to see some amazing natural wonders.
It was a lovely cabin. Very peaceful. Enjoyed the trails on the property. The host was very helpful and kind. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed.
We absolutely loved our stay at the HOH Valley Hideaway! The house was clean and cozy. The trails on the property were well marked and there were beautiful views. We’d love to come back again in the future!
If you intend to visit the Hoh Rainforest, this is an ideal place from which to do it! This property is just a mile or two from the rainforest entrance, and the owner gave me a great tip that made all the difference: I must arrive at the park entrance before 7:30 am to avoid waiting in line for hours to get inside. This is the kind of insider tip that a visitor really needs, and I appreciated it very much! The property itself was clean and cosy, albeit a bit cluttered. Living room furniture (futon and chair) were not very comfortable and could be upgraded; same with the queen bed. But the place had what I needed for a brief stay. The owner was very friendly and communicative before and after my stay.
We enjoyed our 2 nights at this cozy house in the rain forest. From Seattle, we stopped at Beach 4 on our way there, a beautiful beach with great tidepools recommended by the host, Kamala. We then spent all our time on the property and loved drinking coffee on the deck, taking outdoor showers, easily wandering through the forest, and building a fire. The grounds made it easy to explore the outdoors with little ones without loading everyone in the car! It was a perfect retreat, thank you Kamala! We hope to stay again.
My partner and I stayed here during my birthday trip and to visit the park. It was very quiet and well stocked. The property have private trials, a fire pit and a beautiful flowering tree. The property owner Kamala was also very nice, we would definitely come back again.

We are English transplants who have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest. The grandchildren love to come and spend time here.We love sharing the cabin with people who really appreciate the beautiful setting. We have spent years upgrading the property. Not easy with over 110 inches of rain a year! We are thrilled that our guests are returning and recommending this older cabin to their friends. I have guests who have returned every year {14} for a week every August ..They always look to see what changes were made to the property in the last year.
Why they chose this property
We come here to rest and rejuvenate and leave the city behind. Our family has owned and loved this property for over 40 years. Actually, the property has owned us! Especially the moles! Many of our English relatives have come to visit and are always amazed at the scenery.Last year's favourite memory was of my English buddies from high school sitting around the blazing campfire, late at night, drinks in hand, laughing until we cried. We wish to share this peaceful sanctuary with you.Make sure you take the time to walk the trails and pack a picnic for the beach.
What makes this property unique
Tranquility, relaxation, and seclusion. We have enjoyed watching the wildlife in the large yard. The trails are magical. Also the beach-combing,fishing and hunting is pretty good too!
