About the host
Hosted by erin yasgar
I grew up in Connecticut and have lived in many a place since then. I love having a place to get away to from New York City and I’m happy to share it with others. It’s such a special little unknown corner of Connecticut.
Why they chose this property
I loved the house and being in the lake. Used to go to a lake in Massachusetts as a kid and this reminded me of that. Surrounded by farms. Fresh milk and corn in the summer. The sound of grasshoppers and stars galore.
What makes this property unique
This part of Connecticut is still what they call “dark sky”. There is very little light pollution and the star gazing is incredible.sitting on the deck during one the many annual meteor showers is nothing short of spectacular.
