The House of Vlatkovic is situated in the fisherman's town of Novigrad - Dalmatia. The House is in the center of old town, connected to ancient fortress walls. The house itself was built in 1813, and it was owned by a noble family Vlatkovic-Kontini. Newly redecorated, it offers comfort and amenities needed for enjoyable vacation. Perfect for artistic inspiration, writing, reading or just resting. You will enjoy privacy within the stone walls. It has plenty of space on the porch and stone garden. House has 3 floors. Bottom floor has kitchen and living room with original stove that can be used for open fire cooking - it is kept in it's original form. First floor has two spacey bedrooms, each has it's own bathroom. Top floor is an open space gallery with two more double beds. The garden is a closed space covered in old stone, decorated with green plants that create various spots to enjoy. Main terrace is the "best space" in the house - for breakfast and coffee during fresh mornings to easy afternoon and romantic evenings. Amazing nature of "Novigrad see" offers stunning scenery where stone mountains enter the peaceful see and river Zrmanja enters with it's dramatic canyon. Special micro climate offers some of the best scents of Mediterranean nature - plants, flowers, sea an the mountains. Local scenery is amazing and no one should miss it while staying in Novigrad. However, the house and it's location is a perfect starting point to best places in the region - national parks - Velebit and Kornati Islands, city of Zadar and island trips, city of Sibenik - all within 50km range. And for adventurous travelers - explore wild rivers inland, try rafting or climbing and experience tracking on the "Holy mountain" of Velebit. With views of the Velebit Mountain, the medieval Novigrad is full of sights such as the 13th century Fortica Fortress or the 14th century St. Catherine Church. Guests can also relax on numerous beaches in the surrounding area.
