About the host
Hosted by Eric Robinson

We have been coming to Tanager House for more than 25 years and have enjoyed coming often with our family and friends. This is the first year the house has been opened to the public for rental purposes. We are stepping in to help manage the property on behalf of the owner who lives in New York.
Why they chose this property
Tanager House is a very comfortable and relaxing house in a tranquil setting, nestled on a three acre sloping wooded site. The easy walk from the house to Aquinnah Cliffs and Lighthouse is a delightful opportunity to experience the unforgettable sunset. The renters of the house have the opportunity to purchase a modestly priced permit to access one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Philbin beach has a small parking area or easily accessible via house bikes. Lighthouse Beach (dog friendly beach) and the bike ferry to Menemsha Fishing Village is another unforgettable experience.
What makes this property unique
Tanager House is such a wonderful house for socializing with friends and family or finding moment of respite. Four separate outdoor decks provide for amazing south facing moments to enjoy the sounds of the waves, the gentle sweep of the lighthouse beam or the amazing birds. For entertaining the open living area, provides two large separate sitting areas, with the large kitchen island and dinning area, everyone one is together in a warm and comfortable environment. The mix of genuine Vineyard eclectic and modern conveniences makes this particular house a special place to create everlasting family memories.
