Originally a one-room schoolhouse, this charming home offers a cozy retreat with a beautiful outdoor oasis—perfect for making memories with family and friends on your vacation! Ideally situated between Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Hershey, it’s also just across the road from Iron Stone Ranch. This is the home that saw us raise our family and we hope you are as charmed by it as we are! Though it has modern upgrades, it still has lots of character and charm! The floors will talk to you as you walk through the home, the forest is always trying to plant itself in our flower beds, the rooms are quirky with little nooks, the ceilings are lower upstairs to keep you cozy 😉…it is not a new build but it is a lovely space for making memories!
Inside the home is private just for you and outdoors is “shared” in the sense that we may stop by for pool or yard maintenance but it is yours alone to enjoy for fun!
Upstairs, the full bath has a walk in shower. There are 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6 comfortably and we do have convertible chair in the living room to accommodate extra guests ($40 per extra guest after 6, per stay). All bedrooms have a closet, the Green Room has a full walk in closet. In the Green Room you’ll find a queen memory foam bed. In the Yellow Room a daybed and trundle, both twins as well as a pack’n’play to bed set up. And in the Purple room, a double bed.
Downstairs, the living room is spacious with room for relaxing and for the kids to play. The kitchen is a dream and fully stocked with bakeware, cookware and serve ware. The adjoining dining room has great light and is a great room to enjoy game night or doing puzzles! There is a desk for anyone needing a space to work or write. Laundry and powder room are located on the first floor. The powder room just off the kitchen has a door to the pool to function as a pool restroom.

This property is surrounded by wooded areas, which means it does come along with some critters. The home and property are clean, but please expect that you may see toads, turtles, deer, ants, spiders, rabbits, etc. Please respect any furry or slithery friends you may come across. For the not so desirable critters, we have professional pest control quarterly in and around the home for our own peace of mind, and the home is very clean, but please do not be alarmed if you see a bit of country on a country property. Do not be afraid to message us if you see a critter you didn’t expect to see, but please do not expect a refund if you don’t enjoy those critters.

Pool open May-September.

We are currently working on refinishing the deck. The pool and deck are usable and functional as in the pictures, but the red finish is being redone. Will post new pics once done!

Allergy disclaimer: This is currently a pet free home but has had pets in the past. Has been professionally cleaned multiple times since. All within a short drive and previous guests have been very happy with the space for the following purposes- Hershey Park, Giant Center, Hershey Medical Center, Moonstone Manor, Iron Stone Ranch, PA Dept of Corrections Training Academy, Masonic Village Visitation, Spooky Nook Sports Complex
