AVOID this place for NYC holidays.
AVOID, NOT GOOD! Do not rent this place for your holidays, unless you intend to have a bad experience. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place for your holidays in NYC. It's an hour or more to get from the property by bus to NYC. Our original reservation at another place in NYC was cancelled at last minute because of "overbooking" and we had to take this one that seemed, at least in the few photos they published, in good condition.Of course, they are non-refundable, and the service is terrible. They promised to send us the access code to get the key to enter the “apartment” (an attic, as a matter of fact) on the day of our arrival and they never did. I contacted them 10 hours before our arrival, no answer; I contacted them again one hour prior to our arrival, no answer. We arrived at the property, while it was raining, and stood in the rain, soaking wet, until one of the tenants at the property kindly let us in and advised how to access the lock box to get the key for our rental. The hosts NEVER contacted us to apologize for the lack of care towards their customers!! Beware. Upon entering you must climb through a narrow, badly lit and dirty staircase to the attic. The so called “apartment” had very little water pressure. The sink’s faucet was all wobbly and difficult to get enough water to wash anything. The hot plate was old and visibly unsafe to use and the old air conditioning unit in the living area was so noisy that you could not keep it on for long, etc.
