This was the perfect getaway and just what we needed. We felt like we were miles away from the city, yet just a quick ride into town to enjoy the square. The cabin was cozy and so cute. Thanks for a great trip!
Perfect location that allows you to be close to the interstate but have the country feel. Perfect for our family with 2 small kids. We also got to enjoy the fire pit when time allowed.
We had a wonderful time at the Clark Cabin! The place was incredibly clean, well maintained and had such a cozy welcoming feel. It was clear the owners take a lot of pride in the property. Everything was just as described, if not better. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owners were fantastic to communicate with, responsive, kind and helpful every step of the way. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable escape!

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
Scoring was difficult because there was a real mix of pros and cons. I only interacted with the assistant (as she described her role) to the host and never the hosts themselves.Pros:The property and cabin get high marks for aesthetics - 10/10 there. The photos don't do it justice. A lot of effort has been put into the grounds and build of the cabin. It fit the bill location-wise for proximity to my parents' house.Neutral but nonsense:Putting up a bunch of warnings, fine notices, and forcing your guests to buy insurance for furnishings and finishes just gives all parties anxiety. Let it go and embrace an engineering solution that can tolerate normal wear and tear!Cons:While the assistant was quick to respond via phone, follow up actions were lacking. I received information during a power outage quickly, but other issues I raised with the exception of one, were ignored. The shower head became clogged and I was told it would be fixed same day, and was fixed next day instead. The biggest problem, however, were the mice. There are mouse droppings all over the cabin, and fresh ones every day. The only response to the mice problem was to suggest an exterminator but judging by the fact that the dead mouse I found never disappeared, that never happened. Maybe all kitchen towels lost to mice? No response on lack of towels and dish rack, odd with no dishwasher.
