Guests can feel free to explore by taking nature walks. Also, at your doorstep is the Wisconsin River which offers excellent fishing! Enjoy two docks & over 300 feet of river frontage. Perfect for kayaking, canoeing & tubing. River’s Edge Retreat is only 20 minutes from Minocqua. Minocqua offers many shops & restaurants.

If you’re looking for a perfect modern day house this place is not for you. River’s Edge Retreat offers a true amazing North Woods Wisconsin cabin get away experience!

Upon entry you will walk into the kitchen/. family room. Kitchen has a stove & cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator & island. The kitchen comes with all supplies and appliances you will need. The refrigerator/freezer does have an ice maker. No need to bring bottled water. The entire cabin has a filtration & water softener system. The water is crystal clear! Attached to the family room is a full bath and with a walk in shower. The guest bedroom has comfortable queen size bed & dresser. Once you walk into the living room from the kitchen you will enjoy the rustic cabin feeling & beautiful riverfront views. The spacious primary bedroom has a king size bed with closet & 2 dressers. Attached is a bathroom that includes a washer/dryer & jet tub. No shower.

The best part of River’s Edge Retreat is outside.
This beautiful northern part of Wisconsin River just footsteps from the front door! Catch a glimpses of eagles soaring overhead, ducks & geese on the river or deer meandering through the woods. Two docks are available for use to enjoy the excellent fishing on the river. My family and I personally have caught musky, northern, bass, walleye & panfish. Challenge your family & friends to a couple yard games that are available. Horseshoes & washers. Please utilize the woodshed to relax by the campfire & try to solve all the world’s problems! 😊
Available to you is a Weber gas grill on patio for BBQ’S after your full day of play!

We do offer limited amount of tubes upon request for a river float that starts upstream & will bring you right to the cabin! You will definitely make unforgettable memories to last!

*****If you’re up for the float the boat landing is upstream off HWY D just before rainbow flowage. This is about a 3 hour float. PLEASE if you’re not a good swimmer wear a live vest. There is a small rapids section at the halfway point*****

Winter season: Snowmobilers welcome! There is plenty of room for trailers & parking. River’s Edge Retreat is the perfect destination in any season due to easy access of 500+ miles of groomed snowmobile trails throughout Vilas County.

Minocqua Winter park is 34 miles away for skiing, sledding, skating & much more! Enjoy access to entire 9 acre property except the log fishing Hut.

The driveway is gravel with trees on both sides that is well maintained.

Guests will be granted a four digit pin upon check-in. This pin will be used to gain access to lock box that’s attached on the gate post at the beginning of driveway.
Inside the box will be the gate & cabin key.

The neighbors have access to our driveway so the gate may not always be locked. If it happens to be the case, you still need to open the lock box for cabin key.

You cannot see the cabin from gate/road. Once you get to a fork in driveway you will want to stay left which will take you right to the cabin! There are 4+ parking spots on the driveway or just off the driveway onto the grass. We absolutely love animals but unfortunately pets are not allowed. We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause with anyone hoping to stay with us.

The cabin is 100% non-smoking inside. Feel free to smoke outside just don’t leave cigarettes on the ground. Dispose in the fire pit PLEASE.

Have FUN & let loose but this is NOT a party cabin. This is our family cabin that we utilize as much as we can. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
