The Towne's at King's Creek Plantation offers all the amenities of luxury townhouse living. Each suite also includes a private sitting area for relaxing and the end of each day. This resort is close to all major attractions. You can take the resort shuttle to and from theme parks (Busch Gardens and Water Country USA). Just 15 minutes away from the Yorktown and Jamestown beaches. Only 3 miles from Colonial Williamsburg.

On the northern part of the Plantation lies The Townes featuring deluxe townhouse living and a swimming pool. Luxurious decor and room to spread out hallmark 'The Townes'. These exclusive and beautifully furnished townhomes feature Bose sound, two full bathrooms, master bath with garden tub, two bedrooms, sleeps 6, bright sunroom, fireplace, wet bar, washer & dryer. The Townes swimming pool and snack bar is a summertime favorite.

The Townes at King's Creek Plantation offers a quiet, serene setting nestled in a newly developed wooded area. Could have been better if..

The property we stayed was good and made us feel like home. The host was great and answered any questions we had quickly. We love the location, could have walked to Water Country USA, and very close to Busch Garden. We gave less stars for check in process because the concierge kept trying to sale the gift after I already declined repeatedly. It was indeed a good gift ($150) but we were not interested to spend 90 minutes listening to something we have no desire to participate. Besides that our stay at this property was very satisfactory. Thank you for hosting.

Great place but front desk really caused a hassle

We stayed in two different portions of the resort. Initially we stayed in the Townes and our unit was LOVELY. Fully updated and stocked well. Mid week we had to move to a cottage and to say the least, it was awful. When we switched units we were informed that they forgot to clean our new unit so here we were, homeless with all our food spoiling and my husband had nowhere to get ready for his convention. 2-4 hrs after the 12:00 estimate was the guess. No apologies. We were told we would be texted when it was ready. That never happened. We finally showed back up and were told we had to move to a different unit than the initial one we were told about. It was AWFUL the toilets were clogged for the duration of the stay. You could only flush if you ran the sink?! We weren’t stocked with any extra linens for the pull out bed or half bath. No soap no towels. . The couches were so dirty and torn that I had to put a sheet over them to sit. Also, please be advised that the man working in the activities center does not like people. He yelled at our daughter for drawing a smiley face in the condensation of the window while we were waiting. When I confronted him about it he was shocked that his yelling wasn’t acceptable. I Told the managers but got zero response. Back to the Powhatan we go.

Williamsburg stay August 2021

We booked a condo in the Townes section and paid full price for a 4 night stay. We were not told ahead of time we would be pressured to listen to a time share presentation when we arrived! We told the woman (very politely) we were NOT interested in giving them 90 minutes to attempt to sell us a time share at any time during our stay. Her attitude immediately changed and she literally slapped our parking tickets on the counter and turned her back on us. It was actually shocking. VRBO needs to make this clear up front when renting a property that they can expect to pressured to sit through a presentation. When we entered the condo, we immediately heard a smoke alarm beeping in the ceiling. 3 bed pillows on the master bed had no pillow cases. Sofa bed had no bedding or pillows. I called the main desk who put me through to housekeeping. The call disconnected twice so I drove back to the check in point with my concerns. I noticed my white socks were black after walking on the carpet and my the bottom of my granddaughters feet were also black. I am assuming the carpets have never been cleaned! I give the cleanliness of the property a 3/5. Washer was extremely tiny and dryer took at least 2 cycles to dry a load. The iron leaked water out of the bottom. There was trash that was dropped on the outside steps that remained the entire stay. On a positive note, the pool was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The property is located very conveniently to local attractions. I would consider returning but only if we were able to book a cottage. The second floor condo was not convenient with all the steps.

Excellent location and accommodations!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for a small family. The small den (sunroom) is a perfect extra room for a small child or teenager. Very clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tubs are a big bonus.
