Cook everything from snacks to huge, special meals in this kitchen that is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, blender, two coffeemakers, air fryer, mixer and goes beyond necessities with all utensils and dishware. There is ample space for food and supplies and the granite bar offers seating for four. A telephone with free local service is provided along with high speed internet with unlimited use.
Relax in the large living area where there is a sofa with queen-sized sleeper, a flat screen TV with cable and DVD/CD surround sound stereo system. A wet bar with sink has all the glassware needed for entertaining. Enjoy the sunsets where the floor-to-ceiling windows offer unobstructed views to the South and to the West as you step out the sliding glass doors that open to the large gulf-front balcony with full patio set.

Make doing the laundry fun, as well as helpful, in this spacious laundry room that provides plenty of room for storage along with the washer, dryer, iron/ironing board, vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, bucket and other cleaning tools.

Each of the four bedrooms has a flat-screen TV and alarm clock; the main bedroom also has a entrance to the gulf-front balcony. Two other bedrooms share the balcony with views of the gulf and Lake Shelby.

Hope to Return!

Our family really enjoyed this unit. After renting condos in Gulf Shores for more than 30 years, we rate this one in the top 3! The beds were very comfy, amenities were more than sufficient, and the shower pressure was great. Although we didn't use the pool or exercise room, the walkway to the beach was followed every day. The owner, Laura, was extremely accommodating. We hope to return next year!

Everything you Need with a Million Dollar View

We never tired of the fabulous view—from the 11th floor right on the Gulf. Incredibly spacious, nice kitchen, a truly beautiful beach. We stayed for about a month and were sad to leave. Easy to walk to the wonderful trails at Gulf State Park.

This condo was perfect for our needs as a family that included 2 children and 6 adults, including my 90 year old mother. Everyone had their own space and we felt very well provided for. The condo was just as listed! Very comfortable home with everything we needed. Communication with the homeowner was great… they are very friendly, helpful people. The boardwalk to the beach was great and a short walk! The condo was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. I would recommend this home for a relaxing Gulf Shores vacation!

The property was as described except the kitchen utensils, pans, etc were way beyond belief! Incredible view. Construction next door, but rooms are well insulated, never heard a thing. Laura was more than accommodating, always prompt. We plan to return. 😀

Best View

The pictures of the view from the condo don’t do it justice. From the couch you can see the beach for a very long way and down the beach road and Gulf Shores Parkway (all the way to Waterville). The owners were absolutely wonderful. There was anything you could need in the kitchen and then some. Unlike the other high rises we’ve stayed in, we never had to wait for elevators! The condo was furnished well. It is my favorite place we’ve stayed in GS and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful Condo

This condo was wonderful with plenty of space for everyone, awesome views and great location. The owner/manager was fantastic about contacting us right after we rented the condo to answer and early questions we may have and then again about a week before our stay. Everything was as promised, no disappointments. I would definitely recommend this condo for anyone looking for a relaxed stay on the beach.

Excellent Vacation

We loved this property. It is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equiped. It was like being in someone's home rather than a rental. The mattresses were good which we all appreciated. The location is very close to all the fun things to do in Gulf Shores. Beautiful views, wonderful beaches and super condo!

Family Vacation

The condo was great for our 10 person family vacation! Laura was excellent to work with. The elevator situation was frustrating at times. There were 2 however at times, it took a long time to get an elevator. At one point, there were lines of people waiting for elevators. On check in day, there were no utility carts available to haul our stuff and we waited in line over 15 minutes for an available elevator.

Colonnades at Gulf Shores

Property was for the most part at listed. There were only two things that were Negative about our stay. 1. You are on Camera. We were not aware that we would be monitored as we entered and left the condo as there is a camera INSIDE the condo door. This set an uneasy feel throughout a part of our family that we also had to check to see where else there were camera monitors. Made some of our guests feel uncomfortable throughout our stay which is not a feeling people look for when looking for a relaxing family stay. 2. We were told that there was extensive cleaning throughout the condo. The bath tubs were still dirty and there was debris in some of the beds from what we assume were previous guests. Otherwise the condo had amenities that were nice for our stay. We had access to a Sauna and Gym as well as grills located on the bottom level outside the condo. We always enjoy Gulf Shores for the location is nice and the general " crowd" that is there is fairly calm and respectful. We do recommend staying in Gulf Shores however would consider staying other places on our next visit due to the surveillance camera.

Beautiful condo with Spectacular views

This 4 bedroom condo was immaculate and stocked better than most homes! The views were spectacular especially during night thunderstorms. The beach has fine white sand with turquoise green water. A beach bar/restaurant was just down the beach that was great for lunch/early dinner. Pool at condo was very nice. Beach was clean and not over crowded. Condo could have more luggage carts available. Owner was very responsive to any of our needs.

Nice location; all amenities

Very nice condo. Adults used weight room and enjoyed it. Patio furniture was plentiful and very sturdy. It was nice having the “raised” view. It was also very quiet. The inside furniture was nice and comfortable. The only negative is that the pool was small and really designed for standing, not swimming.

My husband, Ed, and I are both accountants who live in Houston, TX. We have a son and a daughter, 5 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. We both love and enjoy the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach area and how friendly everyone in Alabama seems to be. Ed made my dream come true to own a property right on the beach in 2008 and we were able to buy this larger property in 2012.

Why they chose this property

The Colonnades is a gorgeous upscale property built in 2006 with 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths, 2104 square feet and a 26 foot wide huge south balcony. We wanted a place that allowed plenty of room for family for fun beach vacations. When we saw the amazing views of the Gulf, the beach and the sunsets from the floor to ceiling windows on the South and West walls, we were sold. Waking up in the main bedroom, the view makes you feel like you're right on the water.

What makes this property unique

On the second floor, The Colonnades has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi that allows you to enjoy the gorgeous Gulf views. It also has a workout room and two saunas. There are only 3 units per floor and only 53 in the building so there is always plenty of room on the beach.
