Spacious house with lots of seating options in multiple rooms with off-street parking for several cars in a quiet, very safe, very convenient neighborhood with shops 2 min down the hill by car. The cute village of Arroyo Grande with restaurants and shops is 7 min drive. The closest beach is 8 minutes drive to the south of Pismo Pier. House is up on a hillside so the morning marine layer fog is less dense and you get sunshine earlier in the day. The beds were very comfortable, lots of towels including beach towels available for use. Newer washer and dryer with a utility sink inside the house was very convenient and an easy to use Miele vacuum cleaner stored there. The upstairs primary bathroom was very spacious with lots of counter and drawer spaces. The sunroom made a great home office. The views from the front balcony and upstairs primary balcony were amazing to the west - many sunsets enjoyed from those. Watching the Fourth of July fireworks from the front balcony was a great bonus! The small deck has a gas firepit with seating and a sunshade above. The kitchen was well stocked but a bit dated and chaotic, bring your own spices. This is a well-used home with an original late 1980's vibe, linoleum, carpet, counters. Everything was functional. Lots of windows and sliding glass doors that I cleaned myself. Janet was fantastic, fast responses, kind, even ordered beach chairs to use. Great house for a big family or group. Excellent value and location.
