First Trip to kick off Summer!

The listing for this property was accurate. We had plenty of space and the unit was clean. Management was friendly and assisted us with any needs that we might have had. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well we 1st got there late and the guard said we had 2 condos and we said we only rented one Had to get that straight the next morning. We call bookingCom Neber again we will call straight to condos .but over all the condo workers didn't a great job. And we had a Fabulous time Condos where in a great area. We will be back.

Nice rental

Kitchen was well appointed. Condo was nice but sofa was run down and not comfortable. Everything else was very nice and perfect for 2 adults. The only complaint I have is that the staff was not very nice about giving me an extra pack of dishwasher detergent. They left 2 packs in the room and I just needed 1 more pack. They told me where the Winn Dixie was. Lol

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Destin this summer. The condo was situated perfectly between two pools so it was a very short walk to either one. The condo felt roomy enough for the family. The bedroom could use a fan or better cooling ventilation. The bed is roomy, but not very comfortable. I would sleep on the floor just to be in Destin, so it didn’t bother me too much. The beach is the highlight and it didn’t disappoint. Love being so close and having Rick’s to get a snack or lunch is always a treat. We always stay at Sandpiper Cove when we visit because it gives us everything we need and it’s so perfectly situated.

Unit needs updating

To start off I have been going to Sandpiper Cove since the 1970's - so I know the location and love the community and amenities of Sandpiper Cove. Unfortunately that is where the pleasantries end. Unit 2059 is in need of major updating from painting, flooring, furniture, etc. The AC also only adequately cooled the living room area and not the entire condo which made it very uncomfortable. It was stocked with the bare essentials. Again, I do not have any issues with Sandpiper Cove but I will not be using this condo unit again.

Reviewer Comments: I've stayed at sand piper many times, I would def. recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Destin...HOWEVER this rental was filthy, the bed broke when I sat on it (i'm not a bigger person) there was stains all over the chair and dust everywhere, dirt all over the floor our feet were literally black within minutes of showering I'm not one to complain EVER but sadly with covid and everything I expected it to be a little more clean. Will def. be back to sand piper just not this location.

Good service from Sandpiper, however, the property is not well maintained.The couch is in poor shape with broken mechanism that would not allow transition to bed and uncomfortable seating. The patio window internal blind system is broken, not allowing any privacy. The deck has several rotten floor boards and is a safety hazard. The kitchen is lacking eating utensils. I would recommend the property only after the concerns are corrected.

Unit 2059 needs some repairs or replacements to the following items: the horizontal blinds on the balcony doors are broken and need replacement, the deck is in bad need of repair, kitchen window and blind need replacement and the toaster is not safe.

Everything was a little broken

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was a little bit broken. The front door “had a trick to it” according to the leasing office. The A/C barely kept the space cold and we visited in 80 degree weather. The balcony had boards it felt like we were going to fall through. The bedroom window was held there with tape. The TV was more complicated than it should be in 2023 and the garbage disposal backed up into the sink whenever we ran the dishwasher. The bed sagged and the living room couch was more uncomfortable than not. The condo seemed clean except for the floors which were filthy. We ended up with a different vacation than planned. We were expecting to stay in Sandpiper between the condo, beach, restaurants but decided to stay out of the condo as much as possible. Destin has beautiful beaches and we liked Sandpiper Coves location and staff but we would definitely look for a different condo next time. This was one of the cheaper options and it totally shows it.

This was our first condo that we had some complaints. 2059 needs a bathroom remodel or even just a new toilet will do. The mattress is outdated & hard, the pillows and sheets were cheap. Constantly was sweeping because, the floor was so dirty to begin with. The AC needs to be updated, it does not get air to the back room, even with leaving it on the lowest temp. But overall, we made it work and still had a great time. I still recommend this place to everyone & will come back again! Just maybe not to this Unit!

We felt very safe considering the front gate security will only let people staying there in and out. The condo was perfect since we wanted to cook for our family and had the luxury of doing our laundry after long days at the beach. We also utilized the golf course which was perfect for families with small kids, it was too big or too small. Pools and hot tubs around the complex’s were nice at the end of the day.

Hoping to come back more often

Near all major tourist sites, marina, port, mall, restaurants, etc. The apartment is dated but clean, with lots of closet space. Balcony overlooks the little community golf course. Great beach within walking distance!! The sofabed was comfy for the teens, but the bedroom mattress needs replacement, extremely soon. The apartment was well equipped. Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Not Worth the Money!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandpiper Cove’s setup is super frustrating. The entire property is fenced in so even though this unit is right across the street from restaurants and stores you have to double around and walk 25 mins to reach them. Our AC broke during the stay and management sent someone out who didn’t fix it and didn’t inform us they didn’t fix it so we had to waste our time arranging a second person to come out.Unit is pretty dated (bed is really saggy).
