Escape the busy city to peace and quiet! Visit High Bridge Lodge and Cabins located in Farmville, VA. Our cabins are nestled away in a beautiful, private wooded area, and offer easy access to the High Bridge Trail State Park.

Visit Downtown Farmville for a variety of shops and restaurants that are only a short distance from the cabins.


The space
The Weekend Getaway Cabin features one bedroom and one full bathroom, as well as a full size sleeper sofa. Central heating and cooling. Fully equipped kitchen. Great Room with wood burning fireplace, wifi, flat screen TV and DVD player. Outdoor fire ring with plenty of seating. Large front porch and back deck to sip your morning coffee or relax to the sounds of nature. Electric grill on back porch. We also now have a hot tub on the back porch. Linens and towels are provided. Bring your own personal items (shampoo, toothpaste etc..)We supply a reasonable amount of trash bags, paper towels, toilet tissue, dish and hand soap. Guests may bring additional supplies if they wish.

We have 27 private wooded acres with access to High Bridge Trail State Park. Great for biking, hiking or horse riding.

Other things to note
AWD/4WD is recommended in the winter months for inclement weather.

• No parties, pre-games, or events. Visitors are strictly prohibited.

• Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday to Sunday.

• Speakers are prohibited from being used to play music at any time, including outdoor spaces.

• Shoes are not permitted inside the cabin.

• Indoor smoking is prohibited; a fine of $300 per night will be imposed.

• 4 guests maximum. Additional overnight guests beyond the reservation will incur a fee of $30 per person per night.

• Unauthorized late checkouts past 11:00 AM will incur a fee of $100 per extra hour to cover the cost of cleaning delay.

• Any mess left behind that requires a deep cleaning will result in a fee of $200 to cover the cost of additional cleaning.

This is our third time staying at this cabin. Every visit has been so relaxing and such a balm to our souls. The location is so quiet, the environment secluded and romantic, the cabin provides all that we need. A beautiful porch to look out in to the woods and sip our coffee in the morning. A quick drive in to town for a lunch out or movie. A wood burning fireplace to snuggle in front of to read or watch a movie. We can take a hike if we'd like or just sit in the hot tub and soak.

beautiful cabin, the photos don't do it justice. it's very private and peaceful. convenient wood to buy on the back porch with option to venmo/paypal. the only downside was the hot tub wasn't usable...it was set to sleep mode which is 78 degrees-messaged the host about it and they walked me through how to fix it but it warmed up slow and wasn't warm enough for us to enjoy-so make sure it's warm when you get there.

I love the "Weekend Getaway" cabin! It was the perfect size and had everything i needed. Clean, comfortable and easily accessible and close to the town of Farmville. I stayed here for business in the area, but I can't wait for another business trip or just a reason to get out of town and stay there again! It was a restful stay, and I even took advantage of the grill to cook a meal and use the hot tub!

This place is fantastic! Very clean, love the hot tub, the porches, the fire place, the outdoor fireplace. It’s very private, and the trail leading to the High Bridge Trail is right next to the cabin. We rode our bikes to a brewery and it was a gorgeous ride! Can’t say enough about how great this place is!
