Great stay in Ship Bottom

What a great week in Ship Bottom. Rocco and Lisa's place was perfect for our family - my husband and I and our two young girls (4.5, and almost 2). The proximity to both the beach and ocean beach, and central on the island, close to the causeway, is perfect. So easy to pop the girls in the stroller and load up the beach cart for a beach day. Bay beach (1.5 blocks away) is also perfect if its windy on the ocean side, has a great swimming area with no waves for kids, and a playground. We walked to get coffee/bagels in the morning and dinner a few nights. Peaceful street and great deck for watching sunsets. The house was perfectly appointed for us and very cute, cozy, super clean. Outdoor shower was great - helped keep the house clean throughout the week. They had plenty of beach chairs (Tommy Bahama, which we love), and sand toys so you don't have to bring everything. We would definitely stay there again. Rocco and Lisa were there a couple nights during the week - happy we got to meet them - great hosts.

Great house. Great owners!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very clean and updated. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We really enjoyed having two decks to hang out on. We have two young kids and this was the perfect house for us!

My wife Lisa and I have been married for over 20 years. We have three boys ages 19, 16 and 13. We live in Morris County, NJ but we have been vacationing in LBI for several years and we have all fallen in love with the Island.

Why they chose this property

After years of vacationing in LBI, my wife and I decided it was time to purchase a home in our favorite shore town. The home is a duplex so we will use one unit while sharing the other with guests. We will keep the home modern and clean and do whatever we can to ensure our guests have a very nice stay and that they fall in love with LBI like we did!!

What makes this property unique

Ship Bottom welcomes all guests to LBI. Our home is only 5 blocks from the causeway which ensures easy access on and off the Island. We are conveniently located only 1.5 blocks from a small Bay beach- perfect for little ones OR 2.5 blocks form the 15th Street Ocean Beach. Our home is clean and comfy, with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and 1 updated bathroom plus a great outdoor shower. Relax in climate controlled central A/C or just relax on the front or rear deck and enjoy everything LBI has to offer.
