The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Trash should be taken to the garbage can in the garage.
Make sure the garage door opener and 6 sports passes are hanging by the front door.
Return outdoor chair cushions to the box on the deck.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guest is required to sign the Renter Agreement. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours after booking.
If booking less than 48 hours before check-in, the agrmnt must be signed within 4 hours; check-in instructions won't be sent until agrmnt is signed.
Minimum age to rent is 21. NO Smoking. NO Pets. NO Parties/Events. Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM.

Terrific family visit

We had a wonderful stay at Highland House! The entire home was even better in person. Everything was sparkling clean when we arrived, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Lynelle was fantastic, responding quickly to all of our requests and giving great local recommendations. The location was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. We'd definitely book again and would highly recommend Highland House.

We chose this booking for a work retreat for a non profit group. We had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances and they made it very easy. It was a wonderful weekend. Beautifully appointed house and close to pool and golf amenities. Comfortably sleeps 6 but can accommodate up to 8. I absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful home! The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from nature, yet still only a short drive to town for restaurants and shops. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and cozy, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Every corner of the house is beautifully decorated, blending comfort with style perfectly. There was a beautiful nature hike right outside that was perfect for a morning walk and some views. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Wow, what a great property! It met all of our expectations and more. It is very well appointed and the hosts have clearly tried to anticipate every need. Everything is top quality, resulting in an incredibly comfortable setting. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our stay at the Highland House was wonderful! The house was well appointed with everything we needed from all the supplies in the kitchen to the towels for the swimming pools. We were all very comfortable in the home and all had our own space. The kids loved the fishing pond and spent countless hours at the pool or fishing. We wish we would have brought our bikes to better explore all the great trails surrounding the property.
