The place was lovely, clean, A/C was nice, and had all the amenities we needed. We did love that the beach was walking distance and the place had all the beach geared needed. Only one thing I felt was odd.. nowhere in the listing said it was a split house. So we were at the top but there was a bottom half of the house, complete other bedrooms and living room. Said owners access only. Now I don’t know if anyone was there but if they wanted to, they had access to inside the upper half of the house. I paid a lot of money and didn’t like the uneasiness of knowing someone else potentially had access into where my family was staying.

I’d like to clarify that the home is never rented out to multiple guests at the same time. The locked-off lower area you noticed is strictly the owner’s private storage and personal space, as was noted, and it is not accessible to guests nor occupied during stays. There is no shared access while the home is being rented, and your privacy and security are very important to us. Ideal north shore getaway

We spent a wonderful week in this home in Hanalei and couldn’t have been happier. The house is well appointed, conveniently located, and was just the right amount of space for my husband and I, our college-age son, and his friend. Waking up in the treetops with a peek a boo view of the bay was a highlight. It’s a quiet neighborhood just a quick walk to the beach or into town. We hope to return.

This place is top notch for a wonderful stay in what might be the prettiest place on earth. You can walk everywhere - the cool town, the great swimming bay, surf lessons, kayak rentals..,you name it. The house itself is beautiful. We loved out stay and hope to be back.

Great stay at the Hale Kailea house

The house has been refurbished, and is lovely and quite comfortable. This includes a big kitchen and dining room, wrap around porch, air conditioning and outdoor grill. The best part is that the house is a block away from Hanalei Bay and a short walk to shops and restaurants.

You can’t beat the location of this beautiful home. It is within walking distance to all of favorite places of Hanalei. The view from every window and deck is gorgeous. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The air conditioning was quite a treat. We stayed 1 week and would love to stay here again when we return.
