My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving to visit our son who lives nearby. The house was great for the five of us and the close proximity to the village of Pinehurst and golf amenities was perfect. Jon was a wonderful host and very attentive from the time we booked through our stay.

Fab location and price for Pinehurst proper! We just loved our stay. Felt like home. Clean. Attention to detail. Attentive host. Little touches. Honestly, couldn’t fault the property. Easy walk into town (when it’s not too hot), park and amazing playground across the road, splash park about 5 min walk.

Ok! If you’re looking for a cottage in the village of Pinehurst, take it from me ( a homeowner in the village) This cottage is wonderful!! It’s very clean, cozy and the mattress’s were really nice! That’s important to me! Sleep! Close to the brewery… pizza… and other fun establishments! The front porch was my favorite! Coffee in the morning and wine at night! There’s a beautiful park across the street if you like to people watch! Jon, the owner, was so accommodating and easy to talk to! What I loved ALSO was they had everything you’d need from plastic wrap to honey, trash bags, dishwashing soap… didn’t have to buy any of that! Even paper towel! That’s not always the case!Beautiful place … wonderful bedding! First class owners! You cannot go wrong!!! Enjoy!

Why they chose this property

Pinehurst is a magical place that combines beauty, a village atmosphere and access to golf and culture. We fell in love with this town after college in the early 2000s and hope you enjoy your stay here too. We love being in the heart of the Village of Pinehurst where you can walk to restaurants and shopping. As a family we love the parks and playgrounds right across the street.

The Heartwood Cottage is a cozy 1950s cottage in the heart of Pinehurst. We love that the cottage is walking distance to almost everything you might need or just a short drive if preferred. We love the playground, parks and green walks that can be accessed just across the street from the cottage.
