About this property
On water, dock, close to Downtown, UW, coffee shops & beach. 4 bicycle available
Nestled on a corner lot on Madison's Monona Bay, this comfortable house boasts 3 bedrooms - 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. With 3 bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers, guests can relax in style.
A fabulous view of the Madison Skyline invites friends & family to sit and chat together while gazing across the bay. What is better?-- the view, or your proximity to downtown & the UW campus? Most mention the view.
Simply cross the street, and you're at the edge of Monona Bay. You'll have use of two paddleboards, the dock & a raft.
Parking: you'll have access to the left garage bay and driveway. Also, parking is free on the side street; there is room for two more cars there.

People enthusiastically love staying here--I can share some great reviews--but here are some things I don't want you to be surprised about:
1) If in town, I will be staying in the basement and exiting via the back door. There is a door between the kitchen and the basement/back door that you (only you) may lock, so that effectively creates a separate apartment downstairs.
2) The house was built in 1941, so it has an old, homey feel. This is my home which I love, not a sterile condo that’s solely a rental. Besides the master bedroom (which has a lake view) the other two bedrooms are clean but nothing special.
3) The stairs to the 2nd floor are shorter and steeper than what code would allow today.
4) An old house always has a list of projects to do, mine are replacing the kitchen cabinets, and painting the 3rd bedroom--In short, if you're looking for a swank, sparkling new boutique hotel experience, check out “Hotel Indigo Madison” on E. Washington St. :)
5) Pricing nuances: in the winter traffic is down so I lower the price. It is more expensive in the summer; that's just the way it is.
Other things you will like:
1) EV drivers: I'm looking for a reason to have the local utility install a L2 charger (4-8 week timeframe for install.) If that would be helpfull to you, message me and I'll explain the details.
2) Weighted blankets are available in each bedroom!
3) Four bicycles are available to you
4) Business travelers: there's an office with a small-business Brother ( that's the brand) Printer/scanner for use. Locks are on all bedrooms.
5) Prefer unscented/hypoallergenic laundry detergent when your sheets & towels are prepared? Just request it; I'm glad to comply.
