Swim laps or lounge by the inviting saltwater pool, then unwind in the peaceful natural setting. Inside, you’ll find all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including WiFi, air conditioning, BBQ and a washer/dryer

The home also features a full walk-out basement apartment with its own kitchenette—perfect for added space or extra privacy.

I split my time between San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and Kent, Connecticut, and I’ve been a proud Airbnb and VRBO host for over 9 years.

Why they chose this property

I chose to live in Kent because the northwest corner of Connecticut is truly stunning—full of rolling farmland, scenic drives, and peaceful beauty. Kent itself is a charming village with great restaurants, galleries, and unique shops. It has everything you need, including a grocery store just seven minutes from my home, making it both serene and convenient.

What makes this property unique

My property feels like a hidden retreat—secluded and surrounded by beautiful trees and ever-changing, magnificent light—yet it’s just minutes from the heart of Kent. I often call it the tree house because of how peaceful and elevated it feels among the branches.

The saltwater pool is one of my favorite features. It’s long enough for serious lap swimmers but also perfect for lounging and play, with plenty of floats and pool toys for everyone to enjoy.
