The grand view room by the lake is a cozy getaway with a feeling of a loft, with heating, WiFi, and more, this place has everything you need for a pleasant getaway. Located on the scenic banks of the Croton watershed. About 1 hour from NYC, it's in the third fl. of an 1850 farmhouse with a kitchenette , bath/skylight, 12 windows & glass doors, working space area, private entrance by the pool/ a big seating and lounging area with tranquil views of the lake, 2 balconies, king size bed +single daybed. Pets are not allowed and could be considered on a daily basis, maximum of one pet to protect the integrity of the carpet.

While trained as a physician, I enjoy art, especially watercolor painting and drawing. Johnny and I moved from NYC 8 yrs ago, raised 2 kids and 5 grandkids. Love creating a harmonious and beautiful environment for our love ones and guests & that fulfills my creativity. I’m happy to-cook with ingredients from our garden/sharing family recipes.
Why they chose this property
Our 1850 house is full of charm still with remnants of old times. The views amaze me every day and it is a privilege to be surrounded by nature.
What makes this property unique
Our house is just 1 hour 15 minutes from Grand Central, that makes it very accessible, the MetroNorth station is 7-10 minutes away by car. Brewster is surrounded by charming towns, my favorites Cold Spring and Beacon about 35 minutes away, there are trails for hiking, orchards, restaurants and farms with equestrian competitions from May-October.
