Welcome to Los Colores de Mérida, your private mid-century tropical retreat in the heart of Mérida’s Centro Histórico. This renovated, 75-year-old home is now available as an exclusive vacation rental. The B&B is perfect for families, couples traveling together, or small groups who want the privacy of an entire house paired with the thoughtful touches of a boutique stay.
Authentic mid-century lines and lush tropical accents, Los Colores invites you to relax and enjoy Mérida’s warm, slow rhythm. The highlight of the property is the rear tropical garden and pool, a peaceful sanctuary where you can cool off after exploring the city or gather for evening cocktails under the stars.
Your stay includes a fresh, locally sourced breakfast served daily, with seasonal Yucatecan flavors that change throughout the year—making every morning a new experience.
Inside the home, you’ll enjoy:
4 colorful, private guest rooms:
• 1 room with a king bed
• 2 rooms with matrimonial beds
• 1 room with either 1 king or 2 extra-long twin beds (your choice)
Bright, open living spaces designed for gathering, reading, or relaxing between adventures.
Dining area where breakfast is served and where your group can enjoy meals together.
Rear tropical garden with pool, lounge chairs, and space to unwind.
Thoughtful details throughout: linen sheets, bamboo cotton towels, artisan décor and locally made bath products from Yucatán Senses.
As your on-site host, I live on the property in a private space separate from the guest areas. I’m available to prepare breakfast each morning, keep the gardens tidy, and assist with anything you may need during your stay while giving your group complete privacy to enjoy the home as your own.

My journey took me through Cancún, Tulum, Bacalar, Campeche, Mérida, and the serene Rio Lagartos. While Campeche and Mérida both captured my interest, it was Mérida that truly resonated with me, the city’s energy and vibe made it the right place to bring my dream to life.
With nothing but determination, I developed the concept and culture for Los Colores, immersing myself in research, staying at B&Bs, meeting with local owners, and even experimenting with bread recipes that would later become our signature breakfast breads. After two years of navigating the challenges of purchasing a property, my dedication paid off, Los Colores de Mérida became a reality.
I now live on the property in a private space separate from the guest areas. Each morning, I prepare your breakfast, keep the gardens tidy, and am available to share recommendations or help plan excursions, while giving your group complete privacy to enjoy the house as your own.
