Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4)
Poor ExperienceI must tell you we were completely disappointed in your condo. I have previously sent you a lengthy email explaining all the thinkswrong with the condo. To name a few, no ice maker, wine chiller didn’t turn on., pots and pans greasy. Please read my full email.
My family and 2 kids (9 and 10) stayed at this condo to ski during spring break in March 2019. It was perfect. Condo has two floors and is huge. Big kitchen, dining room and family room upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need, laundry is on the bottom level, 2.5 bathrooms and there is a TV in each room which helps after a day of skiing. There is also one parking spot included. The hot tub and pool area are down the hall. The unit is clean and decorated nicely. The building has coffee and pastries each morning at 7.
The building is about one block (a 5 minute walk) from Beaver Creek main skiing area and ski school. We never figured out where to ski to be near the building, but there was a path. I would suggest using a valet service for your skis. We carried ours and you need to go up an down stairs which is hard with kids. The building attendants are very helpful and even let us leave our car there when we arrived early.
Our kids loved the ski school, we loved the mountain and will definitely go back. I highly recommend this condo.
Kristie, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay at Centennial in Beaver Creek. Thank you for your kind and detailed review and recommendation. We look forward to welcoming you next time!
Nice appartment on a wonderful location
Very nice appartment, well equipped, plain but nicely decorated, it actually has all you need. kind and helpful people at the reception, spa and heated pool are great after a hard skiing day. very good location, just on Beaver Creek village plaza.
Overall a great condo at a great location. Very well kept and mostly updated. Very comfortable accommodations!
Only concerns we had was no A/C (pretty normal in Beaver creek) so if it’s hot then the place can get pretty warm. The only other concern was road noise, condo backs to road and it’s a pretty busy road. The road noise would not be an issue in the winter with windows closed.
Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear you had an enjoyable stay. It is common that most mountain homes are not equipped with air conditioning in this area, but we do understand that the heat can be an issue during the summer months. We hope the fans provided in the unit provided some comfort for you and your party.
Sometimes a coat of paint and some new blankets make a difference and sometimes it does not.
Sometimes a coat of paint and some new blankets make a difference and sometimes it does not. I have to say that I was sold a bill of goods. Location is great but condo and building is old and in desperate need of an update. The price was right; however I bought in because of the impression that it had been updated. Frig was not working, pool is old and not appealing, there is no air conditioning, not what we have come to expect at Beaver Creek.
Beaver Creek Condo - Cute and Clean but not Ski In/ Ski Out
We had a nice group of four stay at this condo for a mini vacation. The lodge is great, the kitchen has everything you need and the place is very clean and well kept.
I would say that the reason we booked this place is because it was advertised as Ski In/Ski Out when the snow is sufficient. There were other lodges that were half the cost, not ski in ski out, but verrrrry close to a bus stop. The appeal of this location was the ease of skiing out. I will say that there could be an arctic blast for a solid month and this lodge would never be ski in/ski out.
Upon determining this, my group was rather unhappy, but we made the best of it. The hot tub was very nice after a long day of skiing and that was definitely a plus.
If you want a nice condo, this is a great choice. If you want a ski in/ski out... keep looking.
Leslie, after much review, we have since removed the ski in / ski out information in the listing, we appreciated your feedback regarding this information. We thank you for your review and would love to welcome you and your party again.
