We loved our stay. The beautiful historic home is directly across the street from the most incredible park, conveniently located in terms of getting around the quad cities, and near some great restaurants. We loved ordering in and dining in the stately dining room, before our nightly pingpong tournament. We'd happily come back!

We enjoyed Castle Cicali, using it as home base for our annual golf outing. It’s a quirky historic house, but met our needs perfectly. Beds were very comfortable, great water pressure and plenty of hot water for our large group. Hot tub was great

We had a fantastic stay at Paul’s property and would highly recommend it for a group getaway. Our group of 11 made use of every bed and everyone was comfy. Paul was an excellent host! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place for our weekend, which was greatly appreciated. The home was a great place to gather after long days out. We especially enjoyed cooking together, spending time around the pool table, and taking advantage of all the games and amenities. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars in the cleanliness is because this IS a historic castle, and with that comes a little character, including some dust in the older walls and spaces. It certainly didn’t take away from our enjoyment, but if you struggle with significant dust allergies may want to keep that in mind.Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would happily stay here again!

It is a very old place so keep your expectations in lineWe had a plumbing issue in the homeowner addressed it very promptlyMinor maintenance by the owners could be better like missing lightbulbs, front door lock needs to be replaced stuff like that
