About the host
Hosted by Manon Guitard

Hello, I am an artist from Montreal. I love summer and fresh air, and I finally realized my dream with my cottage at Lac St-Louis. I work all summer repurposing antique furniture into wonderful, pretty, and refreshed pieces of art with wax paint and sometime with rice paper collages. I give a new lease of life to the wood, which is a richness that only antique furniture has.
I love painting, my favorite medium is watercolors, but my hands don't stop there. I do everything manually, knitting, crochet, fancy stitches, macrame, and more.
I love being able to host my chalet for people who complement me and who love winter and its sports. I've already given, and today I love being able to relax during this season and remake the world with new projects.

Why they chose this property
I always love the Laurentides and I used to rent chalet every summer until I found the best place ever for my family, the lake, the views, the emplacements from Montreal, the garage for my work, the backyard with fireplace and where my grandchildren can play.
What makes this property unique
My chalet is comforting and warm. I want to share this magical place with lovers of snow and cold.
I have two small Chihuahuas and I always travel with them, so I'm aware of the importance of finding a chalet that accepts pets
