We only stayed at the house for one night and I have to say I am glad. I like to give fair reviews and it is fair to say this house was underwhelming. It did have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and did provide a place to sleep. But the house smelled of paint as if it was painted the day before we stayed. I understand that keeping up a house is necessary but at least air it out for a few days before renting it. There is no kitchen table or other common room for a family to sit. Even having my coffee required me to stand at the counter so I could read my phone while eating a snack. Most of the windows had no blinds or curtains, even in the bedrooms. It made a few of my guests uncomfortable to say the least. The furniture all seemed to be cheap and flimsy; clearly quality was not something considered when furnishing the place. Lastly, the check out rules say to clean the fridge when leaving but a salad and orange juice was left behind when we got there. Even the obvious stuff with hosting a Vrbo was difficult since it was me that had to reach out in order to get the pass code and WiFi password. This was was easily the worst experience I've had with Vrbo so far.

This is an honest review. The other two reviews which give the property a 10/10 are in no way accurate. This property is not well kept. The outside is a mess and in no way usable. Unfortunately, the only “dining area” is outside which is a rusty table and a few rusty chairs in an overgrown and messy yard. There is no where else to sit and eat a meal with a family. No dining table inside. The inside is clean-ish but all furniture seems second hand and very dirty. The mattresses are dirty and the linens are stained. We rewashed all linens and thankfully brought our own. The bedroom that the listing shows has two queen beds actually has one queen mattress on the floor and a twin bed on a rickety metal frame. There are gnats and other bugs throughout the house. There is a mirror being held up by leaning on a light fixture in the bathroom and is a clear hazard waiting to happen. Many of the outlets don’t work. The windows have no screens and many have no blinds. I could honestly go on and on. The only positives were the washer and dryer provided so that I could wash the dirty linens on the beds. I stayed with my friends and our children. This is not a home conducive for a family to stay especially with small children. The neighbors let me know the house was previously owned by a hoarder, quickly “flipped,” and wouldn’t sell so I guess it was converted to a rental for that reason.
