The cabin was extremely comfortable, and very well equiped with absolutely everything we could want or need. The guest book gave us a good idea of how to spend our weekend and the hosts are very kind and generous.
Tim was great with communication and ensuring I knew the details needed for a great stay. The property and amenities were perfect for a relaxing weekend and the fact it is dog friendly made it perfect. Thanks Tim!

Everything was more than great! If you’re lucky enough to get some snow up there, the sauna and fireplace really elevate the experience along with just the overall coziness of it all. Easy directions and not far from town if you need to go back and grab a few things. Would love to stay again!

Clean, comfortable, dog-friendly cabin with beautiful views, a cozy fireplace, and a hot tub. The porch was perfect for relaxing and hanging out, and the hot tub was ideal for unwinding in the evenings. A peaceful, well-equipped retreat with everything yoy need—we would gladly return.

This place has it all! Beautiful, cozy cabin. The hosts are so sweet and thoughtful. The hot tub was just what we needed after a chilly wet day of mushroom picking and exploring. Hopefully we will be back next year for our 8 year anniversary.

Lovely cabin, cozy, warm, secluded and private. The two person hot tub and sauna were absolutely amazing after a long day hiking! The hospitality was phenomenal and the cabin was rustic and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin, hiking to waterfalls, enjoying the local restaurants and shops! Cushman lake was beautiful, we loved the lake and will definitely be back to experience the outdoor activities and surroundings!
We enjoyed our stay at the Happy Place, and can see why it is called that! We went on several walks to the park, enjoyed our time in the two-person hot tub, and went on a hike at Big Creek Campground, less than 10 minutes down the road. All in all, it was a lovely weekend. Tim was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed.

Thank you for your comments! You are right, it is a Happy Place!
Tim and Sandy were very communicative. They gave us a call to give us directions, which really helped when Google took us the wrong way. The cabin is the perfect size. It's cozy, but not too small. We spent our time grilling outside, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing in the sauna, and exploring the lake. It was a great relaxing weekend.
Tim our host was amazing, he answered all our questions and made sure we felt welcomed. They left us a bottle of wine which was so kind. The place was cozy and relaxing for our getaway. Totally recommend this place.

We had such a relaxing stay here. The space was quiet, calm, and exactly the cozy vibe we were hoping for. Inside was very clean and comfortable, and everything felt just as described in the listing. We loved the proximity to Lake Cushman and the ability to utilize both parks in the area with lake access- such a huge bonus. The location really makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors while still having a peaceful retreat to come back to.The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils, spices, and everyday essentials, which made meals easy. We also appreciated that the property is pet-friendly! The front deck was a highlight for us - relaxing in the hot tub out there was the perfect way to unwind.Tim was very nice and communicative throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free.A helpful note for future guests: if you’re staying in the winter and plan to use the wood stove, you may want to bring your own firewood. Also, for anyone particular about mattresses, the bed is on the firmer side.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back for another peaceful getaway.
