We had an absolute perfect time! It was so nice to get away and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. The deer seem to have no fear of people so it was fun to watch them walk throughout the community or along the bank of the lake. We loved having access to the kayaks left at the property and had some fun nights playing darts and ping pong. We hope to make it back again soon!

2/5 – Very Disappointed With This StayI was extremely disappointed with this rental and will not be returning. For the price we paid (close to 1200), the overall cleanliness and maintenance were far below expectations.1.The place was not clean when we arrived.2.The bedsheets clearly hadn’t been washed or replaced before our stay.3.The deck and the grass area near the lake were dirty, covered with leaves, animal droppings, and debris.4.Despite the high cost, we were asked to take our own garbage and drive 5 miles to dump it—which felt unreasonable.5.The heating system wasn’t working properly, making the stay uncomfortable.6.The bathrooms had rugs hanging over the towel bars, which felt unsanitary.7.The fans and rooms were full of dust, showing a complete lack of proper cleaning.8.The ping pong area in the garage was also dirty, with dust, stones, and trash scattered around.Overall, the condition of the property made the stay unpleasant. With better cleaning, maintenance, and guest consideration, this place could be decent—but as it stands, I cannot recommend it.

Perfect lake house! We especially loved the view of the lake (especially the sunset!), the kayaks, and the reading area with swing chair. The host was easy to work with and provided clear instructions. Will definitely visit again!
