The cabin was cozy and just what we needed a a stop over on our trip. We enjoyed seeing the drive through lights at Bristol Motor Speedway and the downtown restaurants were good. The cabin was clean and stocked with coffee. We loved hearing the creek outside in the morning.
Was not expecting this from the Google Street view but we were pleasantly surprised. It’s in a holler and the pictures don’t do it justice. This was perfect for the price. Don’t expect a hotel in the middle of the woods on a mountain, it’s a cabin but one worth spending money on to get away. There is a creek running through the property with other cabins nearby. I would advise getting there while it’s daytime because we drove in at night and was a bit adventurous for this flatlander.

This was the worst rental I have ever stayed. It’s in the middle of nowhere. There are a lot of transitions in the floors from room to room. In the small bedrooms there is a step down to the bed. There are several trip hazards. No dishwasher….dirty refrigerator….dirty sponge to wash dishes. The laundry room is all junked up & dirty…leaves all over the porch. It was 50 degrees in the house upon our arrival….no lights on. I stumbled when opening the front door & fell onto the bed going into the small bedroom being there’s a step down. In the larger bath the vanity drawer rolls out and will not close. The floor is unlevel. I asked to spend one night & pay the cleaning fee however that was refused. We left two days early….I could not stand to be there. Please don’t waste your money. I rate this place as a zero.

I apologize your stay didn’t go as planned! Your original complaint was that the cabin wasn’t big enough for your family and that it was too dark. I just informed you that the cabin is as described online and that I would walk you through where all the light switches are; there are multiple in a few rooms. As far as the refrigerator, I offered to come up there and get it cleaned out so there were no further issues. The larger than usual transitions are a little difficult to avoid just do to the age of the cabin. We put a new sponge out with each clean. The temperature in the cabin is set to a timer, I reached out to support and they have assured me any issues have been resolved. There are string lights that come on automatically as well as a motion light when you walk up. The laundry room was neat and orderly until the paper towels and toilet paper got thrown all over it. You also made the complaint that the fireplace wasn’t working and I came there as soon as I could and got it working for you all. I tried to do everything I could to make your stay as pleasant as possible, I understand you wanted to have a family reunion there but our party and gathering policy doesn’t even allow for it.
The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking a big breakfast. The porch was awesome. The beds were comfortable. The sound of the creek outside was my favorite part.
