The home was clean, comfortable, wonderfully decorated and so welcoming. It's situated on a lovely piece of property that feels extremely private while being a short drive to all of the charming restaurants and shops the area has to offer. Multiple members of our group said it was the best home rental they've ever stayed in.

Seven lifelong friends gathered here to celebrate the life of our eighth, Marc, who sadly passed away in April. Marc loved New Paltz, the Catskills, and the outdoors—and especially finding a great house on Vrbo for friends and family to enjoy. Cragswood Lodge by AvantStay was the perfect place to honor his memory.The house checked all the important boxes: clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and secluded, yet just a short drive from downtown New Paltz. AvantStay’s app made managing the trip easy, and their communication was excellent, from ensuring a smooth arrival to checking that we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay.The value exceeded our expectations, but what meant the most was having such a wonderful place to spend time together and remember our friend. Marc would have loved it. We’ll be back!

The house and studio were perfect! They thought of everything. The house has such perfect little touches and supplies. So comfortable, serene setting and the perfect location. The town is adorable and has everything you’d love to see and do . A perfect family vacation
