Charming 2 Bedroom Casita, Perfect Location for Skiing, Opera and Near Plaza

The private Adobe Casita is located on a city highpoint and surrounded by pinion and aspen trees. This is a stand-alone dwelling next to a private home in a residential area. You will only see us if you want to. Portal (front porch) has sunset, mountain and city views. Located perfectly for all Santa Fe activities, the casita is 9 minutes drive to the Plaza, 5 minutes to grocery and general shopping. Two bedrooms each with en-suite baths including private toilets and large tiled walk-in showers. One bedroom has a four-poster queen bed and the second has the option of two twins or one king bed. The casita has radiant (floor) heat and new mini-split air conditioning. Main room has a complete kitchen and eating area, sitting area and kiva fireplace. The casita is tastefully decorated in New Mexico style. There is a fenced yard and access to public walking (La Tierra) trails.

Full-sized washer and dryer are included. The kitchen has a 4-burner stove with oven and broiler, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso and standard coffee makers, standard kitchen appliances including toaster, blender, dishes, flatware and cooking utensils. Two televisions with cable, fast free WIFI internet service and a sound system are provided. High-end linens and fluffy bathrobes are provided. There are two off-street parking places. Property includes a small fenced yard, perfect for pets, with picnic table and gas grill, flowers and strawberries (sometimes). All amenities including firewood are provided.

Please note that we do allow pets. We clean as well as possible between guests but we cannot guarantee that persons with pet allergies will not be affected.

The hosts were very welcoming and available, though the casita was supplied to meet all our needs so we had no requests. The location was very beautiful and the casita was comfortable and done up in high Santa Fe style! We loved it.

Quaint comfortable casita for relaxing. We appreciated that both bedrooms were en suites. The front porch was one of our favorite spots. The yard had beautiful plants and flowers and our puppy loved her fenced play space.

Serenity and Stargazing

We loved Casita de la Cruz! It was beautiful and comfortable. This home was very close to the city but offered privacy, quiet, and spectacular stargazing in the evenings. We’d love to return.

We loved the cozy (in the best way) house. It's perfectly Santa Fe. The owners were kind and helpful. The showers are large which we loved. We were close to Bishop's Lodge where we had wedding activities and also close to town.

I have stayed at a number of places in Santa Fe and this casita is by far the greatest stay and experience. Bill and Yvonne were the best hosts and made sure our stay was above and beyond. The casita was so beautiful and designed perfectly in the SW interior design. We cooked for our family there in the kitchen and we also took advantage of how close this casita is to Santa Fe plaza. I was amazed at how close this casita was to everything in the city. The casita is also enclosed within a personal fence so if you bring your pet it will have it's own space to roam and you won't have to worry about it roaming off. We loved our stay, and to say the host were spectacular would be an understatement. We will be back on our yearly trip to New Mexico!

Wonderful casita!

The casita is small but charming, with every amenity one could want. The location is very convenient, close to downtown Santa Fe but with a head start to day trips farther north. Highly recommend.

Yvonne and Bill are lovely hosts and the casita was a perfect setting for a quiet stay to visit family. Cute Homey Casita

We had a wonderful time staying at this adorable Casita. So cozy and perfect to be near Santa Fe but also feel remote. We did a puzzle, read, and went to see the Santa Fe tree lighting (10 minutes away in the Plaza).The hosts were nice as well. Definitely would stay here again. Would note- the kitchen matches and "small and cozy" design and, while we made meals, it isn't meant for extensive cooking.

Beyond Expectations

We selected this property to have the experience of staying in an authentic Casita while we were in Santa Fe. While of newer construction, the attention to detail in the construction, furnishings and decor were nothing short of spectacular. Charming property just outside of Santa Fe with easy trail access

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Yvonne and Bill's guest home. Matter of fact, we rated it as one of the best family vacations we've had!! Bill met us upon arrival and gave us a brief overview of the property which was helpful. They thought of everything to make our stay extra special for the Christmas Holiday. They even had a sweet Christmas tree set up which made Santa's job much easier. We highly recommend this property! Close to numerous trails with gorgeous views of the mountains, and wonderful hosts! We'll be back!
