The property was perfect for a weekend getaway in Falmouth to attend a wedding. House was clean and comfortable, A/C units provided to keep the house cool, and the location was great. I would highly recommend staying here in the future.
We had a fantastic week in East Falmouth and this wonderful home met ALL our needs. Clean, bright, well appointed, and comfortable. Donna was a wonderful host who was gracious, helpful, and so responsive to our questions. She provided helpful suggestions when asked! Was tough to head home and we wish we were still there. Thank you Donna!
This house was exactly as advertised. The Kitchen was clean and had everything one would need. Bedrooms were clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Livingroom was clean and very cozy. Bathroom was clean. Do you get the theme of this house yet? AC in bedrooms were ice cold, although one of the AC units needed some filter attention. Great Neighborhood for young children to ride bikes and extremely walkable for adults. A quick ride to Meneuhant East Beach. Outside shower was great, because it's an outside shower, but it could have used a quick pressure wash due to mildew. It also needs hooks to hang towels and/or clothing. Bring a drying rack for wet clothes or use the nice drier. There was no way to dry clothes otherwise. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here at the end of July 2023. Location is wonderful (this is our 4th time staying at Great Harbors, different homes). The home overall was good, kitchen stocked, fast responsiveness from the owner, easy check in and check out. However, there were a few things that need to be noticed. First, the AC in one of the downstairs bedrooms is covered in black mold inside and it’s starting to creep onto the outside of the ac unit. We stayed in that room with our 2 month old for a week and I’m sure this wasn’t safe but a health concern. We didn’t take a deep look at the ac until our last day unfortunately. It did smell bad, we just didn’t think much of it. There were little kitchen ants which were mainly just annoying (the owner offered to put ant catchers which we refused but there was a pest control that came and sprayed on the perimeter of the house outside). We would add sheets to bedding, fun games, clothes line outside for drying, hooks in outside shower, get rid of the white love seat which was very visibly dirty and change out the living room rug which was also dirty. Hang a full mirror and add some working clocks.
Donna's home is lovely on the inside and perfectly appointed with all of the necessities. My family of six enjoyed our week-long stay in the home close to beaches and everything that Falmouth has to offer. The home is very clean and well decorated. I highly recommend for a comfortable, relaxing stay at the Cape!
Overall it was a good vacation home. Close to parents home. Would have liked AC in living room. Bathroom tiles need repair. Otherwise the property was what we expected for the Great Harbirs neighborhood.
We loved our stay at this home! We were in Cape Cod for the half marathon and it was a great place to relax after the race. One thing to be aware of is that the listing says there are two bathrooms, but one of the "bathrooms" is an outdoor shower, so not useful for most of the year.
We stayed for a long weekend of fishing and the house was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, plenty of room, and a nice neighborhood close to the boat ramp. We would definitely go back.
We rented this home in East Falmouth for a wedding we were attending at the Coomanessett Farm, which was a mere 10 minutes away. It is close to Falmouth Heights Beach. This home was just what we needed for my family. A cape with 4 bedrooms each with a queen bed. The house was Tastefully decorated, and fully stocked kitchen. Thank you, Donna for sharing your home with us!
The house was spotless, well stocked with every supply we could possibly need right down to coffee filters and salt and pepper and the location was great! There were four bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 down. One of the upstairs bedrooms opened up into the 2nd bedroom but we had a "mother and daughter" couple with us and the lack of privacy was not an issue. Each bedroom has window a/c units for a great night's sleep and the beds were comfortable; there were an ample supply of pillows and blankets if needed. The driveway has parking for multiple vehicles and we used the outdoor spaces to the fullest. Donna was absolutely awesome to work with and I highly, highly recommend this property!!! We will return to the area as there is more for us to see and I will be booking this property again!
Great spot about a mile from Menauhant Beach. Clean, lots of room. Wish there were a place to hang out outside like a porch, deck or patio. There’s a crushed stone area with plastic tables and chairs but we didn’t use it much. It’s a great place in a nice quiet neighborhood close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and Donna, the owner, is very responsive.
This property was exactly as expected with the added bonus that all four queen beds were ridiculously comfortable.
The outside shower is a great perk. The neighborhood is beautiful, well-maintained, and quiet.
The only improvement I would suggest is that the owner provide sheets and towels. It's an annoyance to have to deal with these on vacation especially when I have zero queen sheets in my possession. Overall an excellent experience we would happily repeat.
The home was so clean and was even bigger than the photos make it seem. Perfect for a group trip and great location to have a short drive to anything in Falmouth including the beach. Great communication and house had anything we needed.
This was our second time at this property, we liked it so much the first time. Easy to get in and out, comfortable beds, great location, everything you would need. I highly recommend staying here if you need a place on the Cape.
My friends and I stayed here for our friend’s wedding here in cape cod! It was the perfect home! Very cozy, clean and spacious! We enjoyed breakfast out on the back patio and took in the fresh fall air. Donna was great in terms of communication.

Five night get a way for 3 retired women.
Overall it was okay. The a/c units needed new filters and needed to be cleaned. There was no central air so kitchen, dining area and bathroom got quite warm and it was September. The cellar had a musty smell even though they had a dehumidifier. We loved the outdoor shower and patio area and beds were extremely comfy.

OK for short stays, property has potential for longer stay w/ some simple fixes.
This house has potential, and with some small improvements it could be amazing. Our biggest issue was a major snafu with the pool membership, which took several days to resolve - but Donna ultimately did the right thing and got us setup with pool access for the remainder of our trip, which we appreciated & enjoyed.
We stayed here for 2 weeks, so we have perspective for renters who might book this house for a longer stay. Some tips we think could be helpful when considering this property:
Inside of this house is spacious with nice decor. However, there's a serious ant problem in the kitchen - a few traps were out so I believe they are aware but we were constantly cleaning up and killing tiny ants.
The outdoor setup is really not great; had to relocate the trash cans that were right next to the outdoor dining set, so we didn't have to smell them while eating. The grill half worked and smelled badly of grease, so it was tough to sit outside at times.
The outdoor chairs are metal and very uncomfortable, so if you want to use them, you will need to bring some sort of cushions. This wasn't a huge deal for us, we just brought our own and it worked out great.
Very limited spots to hang wet bathing suits, towels, laundry, etc. As you could imagine, 2 weeks on Cape Cod generates a lot of wet clothes & laundry to do! We used some bungee cords to try and make do, but this would be an easy fix.
The outdoor shower needs attention. There are no hooks - hard to take advantage of outdoor shower when there isn't a place to hang a towel. The soap rack was half rigged up with an old rusty wire coat hanger that kept falling, which we kept trying to fix while showering. Gave up on using the shower.
Bathroom was clean when we arrived, however the shower curtain liner was black/moldy on bottom, had soap scum & should be replaced.
No full length mirrors in the house - we bought a cheap mirror to use for the 2 weeks.
Donna was nice & responsive, communication upon check-in was a bit limited. We had to ask how to get into the house as check-in section of reservation email was blank, recycling day was incorrect. Batteries on smoke detectors were chirping so we had to replace them while there. (none of this a huge deal, but would be helpful to print out, or paste into the "check-in instructions" in VRBO)
Neighborhood and location can't be beat! Kids can safely ride bikes and play basketball, enjoy the amenities. You can launch your paddle boards, kayaks, etc.
