We had a very pleasant 2-night stay. We cooked dinner one night and had the supplies we needed. Rain prevented us from taking advantage of the deck, but we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the busy little hummingbirds from the window. Really cute place we would definitely recommend.

Cute, cozy, clean, comfy, quiet! Great wildlife and star gazing from the deck. Had everything we needed, and Dian was so easy to communicate with. Bed was so soft and cozy. Shower was hot with great pressure. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer!
Beautiful small private studio with absolutely incredible views. Wish the kitchen / burners were a little bigger, but you can’t have everything! Dian was an excellent host, very communicative & helpful as well. Would absolutely book again.
Beautiful location. Clean room. Kitchen had what we needed. Loved balcony. Driveway difficult to negotiate with luggage.

Crestone Apt Review
The views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, both from the inside of the apt. and the balcony, are spectacular. The apt. was very clean and well organized. Comfortable bed, good shower, and kitchen equipped for simple meal prep. There were some disappointments: there was no freezer. Had this been mentioned in the listing, we would not have booked this. The host never made sure we had settled in after check-in.The only time we heard from her was the day before check-out. She informed us of the check-out time/instructions.Which was not necessary, as the listing threatens you with a bad review if you don't complete the required check-out steps.Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay in Crestone, partaking in the nearby hikes, farmers market, beautiful scenery, and lovely drives.

Misleading property listing description:1) The property is a tiny single bedroom loft above the owners garage; thus, this is not an "entire home" as described in the VRBO listing.2) The property is advertised as a 10 minute drive to Great Sand Dunes National Park, when it is in fact over an hour. After discovering these issues, I asked to cancel for a full refund. The owner did refund me partially, which then resulted in me spending several hours with VRBO getting the remainder of the amount I originally paid refunded. So, I ended up spending several hours of my vacation time just getting my money back for being misled by the owner. Hopefully this review helps others realize what they're getting into before they lose out like I did.
