The Padova

Top floor luxury condo furnished with 1 king size bed, 1 bunk bed (full over full) and 1 sleeper sofa. Sleeps 8 people. Enjoy tons of natural light as you cook in the beautiful kitchen that's fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans and dishes. Living room has a large TV to entertain your guest. The bathroom is has a dual vanity, soaking tub and separate walk in tiled shower! Washer and dryer in unit and off-street parking is included.

Located just one block from sand and Virginia Beach's famous boardwalk, in a very serene Tuscan Style resort, you can walk to beach in less than three minutes. There are two grocery stores located within a five minute walk also. You will find numerous restaurants as well as entertainment venues within walking distance. The very popular 31st Street stage is blocks from your residence, featuring live bands and other entertainment all summer long. If you wish you can hop the beach trolley and visit museums, water parks, etc. Also don’t forget the numerous fishing adventures available. There is golf, fishing, hang gliding, Tides baseball, just so much to keep you and your family entertained. Large roach appeared when packing up

Overall the stay was very nice- location was awesome, bathroom is huge which was great for my big family, beds were comfortable, kitchen was nice, parking easy. The only problem we had was a big roach jumped out from the dresser when we were packing up.

The pictures on line were def taken with a very good filter. It was described as luxurious… which it was far from it! The counter top was stained, bathroom could’ve used a fresh coat of paint, the distressed furniture just looked cheap and it looked like the leather would rub off if you sat on it. There was a hole on the floor by the washer and the doors were so flimsy. Def not going back.

Condo needs a bit of love such as new furniture (many items show damage) but overall nothing major! Extremely well located! Close to everything!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location - unit and grounds were nice. Close to the beach and right in the middle of everything going on at the boardwalk and beach - loved it

Unfortunately Poorly Maintained

This place definitely needs some TLC. While this property is located in a great spot-two blocks from the boardwalk-it is unfortunately poorly managed. The pictures are lovely and inviting and may have been perfect at one time. Our place was nicely appointed and had wonderful potential, but not super clean and suffering from severe wear and tear. Pay attention to the reviews which depict questionable experiences, all of them ring true 100%. Our air conditioner stoped working on day 2 out of 6. Management did respond to my phone call in a few hours with two options one to send maintenance the next day, or two to move us to a different unit, neither of which worked with our schedule. The toilet was not working probably, the float needs to be replaced…inconvenient at best. Upon arrival we discovered water damage was apparent in the bathroom, plaster had fallen from the ceiling into the tub and a dirty cloth was left in the tub /shower. Parking was tight, be sure to put that parking pass in your vehicle towing was enforced -no mercy! The main bedroom has blinds yet bright light shined in day and night, parking lot light shines bright all night. The bed is very soft maybe too soft and kitchen is appointed very minimally. Please don't expect much. No hair dryer or extra trash bags. It is true milatary jets fly by frequently and sometime very early and yes loudly. A large cockroach was captured in the kitchen which may speak to the overall care and maintence of the property. Not clean not cared for-needs a good scrubbing, fresh paint, and some love. Such potentential sad but true. We would revisit the property if better care was taken. Very expensive for the quality recieved. If you are detail oriented and like a clean space this is not the place for you.
