Swimming in the Smokies is a new addition to American Patriot Getaways. This beautiful property has 5 bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms and can sleep up to 12 guests. Located just off of Chapman Highway, guests can enjoy easy access to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville where boundless activities await. Although, you might not feel like going anywhere once you see the blacklight game room and the private indoor pool. Even better you can relax in the jacuzzi tub inside or enjoy the scenic views from the hot tub outside. There is also plenty of seating in the dining area to enjoy meals made in the kitchen. And with the open-floor plan visiting between kitchen and living room is easy. This cabin offers quality family time right here in the mountains. Swimming in the Smokies cannot wait to welcome you! (ON MARCH 1, 2025, a Pickle Ball court is being installed!)

Everything was great. My only complaint is they waited until we're on the way there to text and say pool heater was broke but could still use the indoor pool. The problem was the water was soo cold no one could swim in it. That was a major draw to the cabin for us. We're so disappointed.

Our overall stay experience was disappointing. While the pictures are up to date, what they don't say is that you aren't going to get everything you are hoping for. Check-in instructions went smooth, however the host didn't reach out until a couple of hours before arrival to let us know that we would not have a heated pool or functioning oven - two items we hoped to use extensively during our stay. The pool was too cool to use without the heater, which was never repaired during the course of or stay. The oven was repaired half thru our stay, but the dishwasher washer also malfunctioned. The provided air fryer kept tripping the breaker. Overall the the house was is good clean condition, but the appliance issues tainted our impression of the place. The host did offer a small refund for the issues, but we felt they could have done better.

First,I should say that I’m rather low maintenance, so it doesn’t take a ton to please me.The house itself was really beautiful. I personally think it looked better than the pictures on the outside(pics were from winter, we came very early spring)Plenty of room. There is a TV In every room, which was great when the kids needed a break.The kitchen was stocked with plenty of equipment(coffee makers, blenders, toaster, crock pot, pans) It had soap and dishwasher tabs. The bathrooms all had hand soap.The pool and arcade area in the basement had plenty to do for the kids. We ended up playing pickle ball each day too! I wrote to the property owner about a missing remote and had a response within minutes.Check in and out were easy. Take out garbage, run dishwasher, set temp and lock doors. Can’t make it any easier than that!My only recommendation would be putting screens on the doors for nice days so the doors can be open. Overall we had a great experience.
