About this property
Charming Wine Country Coop Retreat
Welcome to our charming 1-bedroom wine country coop nestled in the heart of Creston, California—a serene, rural enclave within the renowned Paso Robles wine region. Creston is a tranquil, unincorporated agricultural community close to Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero and San Luis Obispo.
Our cozy retreat offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The coop features a comfortable queen bed, a queen size sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen and a private bistro area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of local wine under the stars. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and open skies, it’s an ideal spot for couples or solo travelers seeking a peaceful getaway.
Experience Creston: Small Town Heart, Big Country Soul!
Our coop is located just minutes from downtown Creston, a quaint and authentic small-town hub with a warm, welcoming spirit. Despite its modest size, Creston boasts local treasures that make it a destination in its own right.
Stop by the legendary Long Branch Saloon, where locals and visitors alike gather for hearty meals, cold drinks, and live music. This Western-style watering hole is more than just a bar—it’s a Creston landmark, rich in character and a great place to soak in the local vibe.
Just around the corner, you’ll also find The Loading Chute, a long-standing steakhouse that’s as iconic as the town itself. Whether you’re craving a perfectly grilled ribeye or a casual beer with friends, the Loading Chute serves up classic country fare with small-town charm. It’s a must-visit during your stay.
Wineries, Scenery, and Central Coast Exploration.
Though Creston is quiet and off the beaten path, you’re never far from the action. We’re located in the Creston District AVA, known for producing some of the region’s finest wines—especially bold Cabernet Sauvignon. You’ll find family-owned wineries and scenic tasting rooms just minutes away.
And when you’re ready to explore further, you’re just a short drive from some of the Central Coast’s most beloved destinations:
• Paso Robles – 15 miles away
Explore over 200 wineries, indulge in farm-to-table cuisine, and stroll the charming downtown square filled with boutique shops and wine tasting rooms.
• Templeton – 18 miles away
This quaint town offers Saturday farmers markets, antique stores, and a relaxed country vibe. It’s a favorite stop for food lovers and wine enthusiasts.
• Atascadero – 12 miles away
Home to parks, a historic zoo, and a revitalized downtown area with restaurants and breweries, Atascadero offers plenty to see and do, just minutes from your doorstep.
A Place to Slow Down
At our wine country coop, the days move a little slower—and that’s by design. Whether you’re enjoying a book outside, chatting with locals at the Long Branch, or driving through golden-hued hills dotted with oaks and vineyards, Creston is a place to reconnect with nature and the joy of simple pleasures.
You may even meet some of our neighbors—many of whom sell local goods like fresh eggs, honey, produce, and handmade crafts. It’s not unusual to find a roadside stand with homemade jams or olive oils, all sourced within just a few miles of your stay.
