We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! The location was very convenient for all of our activities and served and a perfect base to explore all the area has to offer. We loved the full kitchen so we could cook instead of going out each night. We would certainly stay again if we travel back to the area.
Charming centrally located property that was perfect for our needs. Kimberly left thorough information about the house which made us feel right at home. The kitchen was spacious, and everything was spotless. We would definitely stay here again.
Bed was comfy, house was beautiful and the location was perfect for us! Half way between Bar Harbor and Northeast harbor made it auper rasy to get whatever or do whatever we wanted without the town crowds. And Kimberly was a great host, very responsive and welcoming!
Wonderful house, clean, everything thing you need for cooking, washer and dryer. Perfect location on the island. Only negative is some traffic noise. Would stay there again.
Charming farmhouse, perfect for two people! Everything was very clean, well stocked kitchen, and Kimberly was very responsive. The location was perfect for accessing Acadia, with a carriage road entrance around a mile and a half away. Nice back deck with a grill and a private back yard.
Yes, there is a fairly busy road. BUT this charming home is conveniently located to Acadia NP, Bar Harbor and many other wonderful places to visit. You can get to a trailhead for hiking and cycling on the “quiet side” of 10 minutes up the road. Kimberly leaves many thoughtful details that make the home a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
The farmhouse was a lovely place to stay while exploring Acadia National Park! The house was extremely clean, had all of the supplies we needed, was very well-maintained, and was located very close to the park and all of the local towns. We loved the property - the backyard is nice and offers a great view of the stars at night, and the house is very comfortable. Kimberly is an amazing host, and she was very responsive throughout the trip. The wine, snacks, and drinks at check-in was such a thoughtful gesture and we greatly appreciated it. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would love to visit again in the future!
Such a cute house with great character. Extremely close to all activities/places in Acadia. The house was very clean and the host was very nice, even leaving us a bottle of wine and snacks/drinks in the fridge! The house does get a little warm in hot weather with no AC, but plenty of fans are provided that make up for it.
It’s a lovely small house, at the right price. The host was a great communicator, and really thoughtful with a fridge stocked with welcome plates of fruit, cheese and crackers, and wine beer, and seltzers. So appreciated after a long trip. The house is attractive and neat. My only two dings are the noise from the highway (the house is very close to the busy road), and when it’s hot out, the house really heats up and the only relief is fans.
