There was no one at the front desk when we got there. It was an inconvenience for us to phone them then they didn’t answer, and tried it again and again. For the third time, they finally answer and told them we need to check in. We requested more coffee but that never came. We stayed 2 nights. Room is clean otherwise, plus spacious and there’s kitchenette so that’s a plus.

This property is well situated in Sunpeaks Village, in the midst of all the shops and close to the primary ski lifts, golf course and other amenities. Front desk staff were friendly but the back office person (?manager) was quite dismissive and not very willing to respond to questions or address concerns.
The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is seating for 4-5, plus the dinette. There is no air conditioning, so the unit was very hot, in spite of a recent dip in temperature.
Parking is underground, and well lighted, and BC fragrant.
This location needs to repair its ice machines.
We did not use the hot tub. Pets are not permitted at this facility.
It was good value, but there are other locations in the village that step up their hospitality a bit better.
Location of this hotel has a huge advantage for skiers. Hotel is old but clean. Only one elevator in peak hours made waiting time long especially you have luggages for check out. I used stairs most of the time during my stay and they are bright and clean.
Strategic location, easy to ski on and off the hill. The suite we had was well-appointed and we found the bed to be very comfortable. We were facing the street and it was quiet.
Everything was great. nice and close to everything in the village

Disliked: Staff & service
We were very disappointed that the manager of the lodge refused a modification of our dates, requested considering the road closures (big detour through Hwy 3), the severe winter conditions (lots of snow on the road, and minus 30 degrees), and the new Covid-19 restrictions implemented 2 days before. Very strict conditions of cancellation. and on their website, they promoted flexible cancellation conditions because of the road closures!
The rooms are nice size and the fireplace takes the chill off. It was very cold out when I was there. My room had a handy kitchenette that had all we need except additional garbage bags. The hotels location is fantastic. Easy access to the ski hill, pubs and restaurants. If there was a negative it’s that the front desk isn’t staffed in the evening and when my key to my room stopped working it took 30 minutes to get some help.
Not having the front desk open was inconvenient. If that information was provided ahead of time, we would be better prepared to go to other hotel to check in. Keys that were issued didn’t work to open our room was not welcomed, either. Thankfully, the front desk staff from Cahilty came quickly to replace the keys so we didn’t have to go back there.

The property is very well located right at the village, we stayed at a very quiet time beginning of November so hardly anyone there, not even front desk people ;). We enjoyed the hot tub, walking around the area every day. The room was a bit dated, nothing fancy, it was fine for the price. We enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic Italian restaurant Capones, is on the hotel premises. Clean, basic room, excellent location in the village and the bed is firm but comfortable
Didn’t realize there was no a/c, the room was hot. We were provided with an ancient fan, and the window didn’t open much. Also, the water pipes squealed when having a shower. Otherwise, everything was lovely and very clean.
We loved having the kitchen area with a full size fridge, toaster and stove top. There really wasn't any need for a dishwasher, a toaster oven might be nice as well but overall, it sufficed for us.
