Gorgeous location in the country! Host was so friendly, accomodating and easy to work with. Large open area on main floor for gathering, cards and games, or sports games watching on the large TV! The up stairs loft area also has an open area, with TV and shuffle board table. Hike the trails, or just sit and enjoy the view from covered patio or the big windows. Watch for the wildlife to wander by!
Great communication from Jeremy before and during our stay and very accommodating to requests. We really enjoyed this house and its amenities. It was perfect for large gatherings. We’ll be back!
It truly is a beautiful, spacious property in a meadow on top of a hill. We had a gorgeous view of the rolling green farmland for miles. Minus the distant fireworks from Adams and Sterling, it was peaceful and quiet. We saw deer and birds and a snapping turtle! We did get almost 3 inches of rain while we were there and my son just about got stuck in the road, but it turned out OK. That’s the price you pay for living in the country and believe me it’s worth it! We had fun playing shuffleboard in the game room upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with one exception – – there is a Keurig machine, but no pods. But we figured out how to use the coffee maker so it was fine. It is a very nice kitchen. Plenty of everything if you’re hosting a gathering. The beds were comfortable, but I always bring my own pillow. The only reason I dropped a star for the check-in was that my code didn’t work on one of the doors. So that caused a little anxiety for a minute or two. But we were able to get in via the back door. We only stayed for the weekend, but if we were to reserve the property again, I would make sure to bring more groceries because it is a ways to drive to the nearest grocery store. Overall, it was comfortable, in a beautiful setting and a great stay in rural Nebraska!

Hi Barb,
Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay at the property. I appreciate your feedback and wanted to clarify a few items that may be helpful for future guests.
While the property offers a peaceful rural setting, there are still convenient amenities nearby. The Adams grocery store is about 7–8 miles away (approximately a 12-minute drive), and there is also a Dollar General about 7 miles away just off Highway 41. Additionally, there are two restaurants within about 8 miles for guests looking to dine out.
I always provide complimentary K-Cups at all of my properties because I feel having coffee available is an important amenity. In this case, they were stored in a kitchen drawer that was unfortunately overlooked. Their location is also noted in the welcome guide with photos at check in. I am always available if questions come up or looking for something.
To help guests navigate the final stretch, I send a detailed map prior to arrival. If followed, the route includes only about 2.5 miles of well-maintained county gravel roads.
Regarding the door, I inspected it after your stay and found it to be operating properly. That said, I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. I strive to be readily available for my guests throughout their stay, and I also have two separate entry lock systems in place so there's a backup available should one ever experience an unexpected issue.
Thank you again for your feedback.
This home is absolutely stunning. Every detail was clearly and meticulously planned during the build—from the thoughtful layout to the high-end finishes, everything feels intentional and top-quality.Check-in was seamless with easy keypad access, and the zero-step entry made unloading and getting settled incredibly convenient. The main-floor bedroom and bathroom were perfect for our grandparents, allowing them to avoid stairs. There was plenty of sleeping space and room to hang out, making it ideal for our multi-family stay. Everything was spotless—so clean and fresh! The sunset and sky views are absolutely breathtaking—you can see for miles. It’s incredibly peaceful, with no road noise or nearby distractions. The presence of wild game throughout the property added a beautiful, natural touch to the experience. We also enjoyed hiking what must be miles of well-maintained trails across the property. There’s access to a large stocked pond—we didn’t fish this time, but we’re definitely bringing our poles on our next visit!I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature in total comfort and serenity. A truly special place—and we absolutely plan on returning! Our Host, Jeremy was fabulous! His response to any questions was quick and concise!
We had a very nice weekend. It was probably one of the best places we've ever stayed at for vacation. Nice views. We saw turkeys and deer and plenty of birds. The whole house is modern with newer appliances. The shades are able to be opened by remote. There was a color changing simulated fireplace. TV in the main front room was very large and able to be watched from anywhere in the main room. Nice open concept. TVs in the bedrooms were also nice size. Plenty of showers and even a jacuzzi tub. Shuffleboard was fun. One of the things that impressed us the most was that the house was stocked with plenty of necessities. They even provided us with enough toilet paper, laundry detergent and hand soap. They even had glass dishes with lids so that we could pack up leftovers and keep them in the fridge, tin foil, spices, the works. As for the beds, they are all memory foam except for the bunk beds. Plenty of pillows in all the rooms. Lots of dressers and drawers. The owner was also very nice, helpful, and responsive. If we had any questions or needed anything, he was there to help.Overall a great vacation!
