Beautiful Acorn Cabin, 10 min from Asheville

Beautiful Acorn Cabin has all the modern conveniences (full kitchen, central air, gas fireplace, cable TV) along with a shaded porch, rocking chairs, and quiet woods. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs, but not on the furniture. Three queen beds can accommodate up to 6 people. (The base rate covers up to 4 guests. Each additional guest is $25/night.) Easy access to the mountains, Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Situated just 30 yards from our other cabins:

Walk to Weaverville's shops, restaurants, bakery and free pickleball courts behind the community center.
EVENTS: Our insurance does not cover events held at the cabins, nor is our parking usually adequate for parties including folks who are not Cedar Creek guests. Therefore, rehearsal dinners, bridesmaid luncheons, reunion dinners or any event, indoors or outdoors, that includes significant numbers of people who are not cabin guests, are not permitted.
We can suggest local restaurants, event centers, and parks that may be able to help with these needs.

The cabin was great. Everything was clean and well organized. Items like soap, paper towels,, dishwasher detergent were provided. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc.Beds were comfortable and plenty of chairs/sofa. The Main Street in Weaverville is not within walking distance but just a 5 minute drive. Communication with the owners was excellent!

We enjoyed our stay in the area and the location of the house was great! Nice area, quiet and private. Enjoyed Weaverville while still close to Asheville and area attractions. House does have a lot of stairs if that would be hard on you. The second full bath is in the loft area with a queen size bed. Lower floor has a 1/2 bath only.

The property location is great. Accessing the house was ok but not easy. If you are staying for a a week or longer, you need to drive up around to the second floor, which is not easily accessible. As mentioned by one of the previous renters there are a lot of steps. We found the house to need updating. The TV was small and the appliances older. The house was exceptionally built. Porch nice. Would we stay here again? No.

Dear Marilyn, So sorry you had trouble getting to the upper driveway. The trick is once you begin just keep going. Hundreds of folks without 4 wheel drive have done it successfully. Thank you for your up-dating tips. There are 3 TVs in the house but you are probably referring to the living room TV which is a 37" and we are putting a larger TV in next week. So glad you enjoyed the front porch where you can hear the stream out front bubbling. Hope you will come again. Blessings!

We enjoyed this cabin for our stay to visit sites in Ashville. The downtown area of Weaverville was fun to explore and we had a wonderful lunch at Twisted Laurel. The rooms were comfy, and the living area was great for all of us to relax together and have the fire going. It was easy to get to the parked cars out the back door. Thanks for a great get-away!
