Outdoor resorts is a UPscale Mobile home park. The park models on site are very well maintained and clean. The entire park is well kept . There is a clubhouse with frequent breakfasts, dinners, dances and parties. They hold card games and Bingo. Exercise classes, and many other classes. It is a very popular park and winter months are very hard to get in for a winter stay. Book early. It is that nice.

Melbourne Resorts is an upscale mobile home community with lots of amenities. There is access to 3 different pools, tennis courts and shuffleboard, among other things. The residents were all very friendly, waved and said hello as they were on their walks. The home was well kept and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The hostess was very communicative. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Eileens place for 3 nights and couldnt be happier. Outdoor resorts is a great place to relax and unwind. It is very quiet and the pools are very nice!

This is a great resort to enjoy Melbourne Beach! It has everything and super nice people! The lodging has steps and some low ceilings but is in a great location.

Two month stay

We had a great two month escape from a northern winter staying here! The accommodations were in a perfect location and Eileen, the owner, was very easy to work with. She was prompt to reply if we had questions or needed anything. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable and we felt at home during our stay. We would come back and stay here again!

This cute little place is very clean. It can sleep 6 people. There is a large enclosed porch too that has a table for 6 also. 3 pools, tennis, shuffleboard. Bring your bikes. Lots to do in the park. RIght across the street from the OCean. There is a pool on the ocean too. Just GORGEOUS.

a great place for kids

We had a great time! We were steps from the pool and I felt safe with the children walking and riding scooters in the park because there was almost no traffic and everyone was very nice. We went to the zoo and the space center while here and both were great!

Family getaway

Property was as stated… there were some minor hiccups but overall stay was ok. This is in an older adult community so I wouldn’t recommend to anyone besides family traveling.

Sorry the hot water heater was only warm and not super hot. I found out only one leg of the heater was working. So I am having it replaced. The pools are fun for kids especially June and July there are a lot of children, but by September they are all back in school. It is mostly an adult community.

Beautiful and Quiet

The park model home was perfectly laid out and very decorated. The neighborhood was peaceful and the pools were great and heated. The owner was great and very responsive to any and all questions. All in all it’s a great place to stay.

We had a phenomenal stay. I would say the building is like those tiny houses! It made it quaint and fun. The grounds were amazing three pools steps to the ocean river. We had everything we needed.

Great place & close to everything in Melbourne Beach

The trailer was very nice, but more suited to someone with young children to stay upstairs in the tight bed room. The trailer was very cool in the front area/kitchen, and not as cool in the main bedroom. Perfect if you are getting out to go to the pools or the beach.

Yes, the lofts are great for younger people. There are 2 queen beds up there and very comfortable beds. I myself have slept up there many times. 3 great large pools. Tennis. Clubhouse. Glad you enjoyed your stay and the Melbourne beach area.

Great value

We had a great stay. A few pleasant surprises with this property. It’s literally steps away from one of three pools. This pool is on the river where we say numerous fish, pelicans and dolfins swimming right up to the edge of the pool deck. A second pool in the center of the grounds and a third on across the street from the park directly on the oceans beach. Plenty of room and clean within the unit. We will definitely be back.

It was ok, but I hated that the owner controlled the a/c. I had to contact her to turn it colder for the first couple days, but then it was fine. The a/c units are very old so the one on the porch doesn’t cool the porch down. Again she had it on a control, it turned off at 11pm and then comes on at 9 am. So that was terrible when we had family and couldn’t sit out on the porch after 11. The trailer needs some TLC. Be sure to take your own toilet paper, it is not provided.

Sorry about that. You should have told me you wanted it cooler. I turned the AC down as soon as you asked me. I honestly thought the cleaning lady left some toilet paper. I Will make sure she does. The last people that stayed there loved it. But I will check it all out. I did ask several times if everything was OK and you said yes.

Needs some love

Very small bedroom which is OK but, the ceiling fan is only about 4 ft from the top of the bed. Be careful if you sit up. Upstairs bedroom? has to be crawled into, air conditioner needed serious filter change/cleaning. The Florida room is not air conditioned, the ceiling fans did not work so, utilizing it for meals or anything but a pass thru was not possible because of the heat. The entrance door could be locked with a key however the side door to the florida room could not be locked (no lock at all). No issues occurred with being unlocked. Unit needs a serious deep cleaning. When we arrived there was a dried up coffee filter w/coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Attention to details by cleaning person. There were very good beach towels, and bath towels. We also had to make the beds when we arrived. Linens were provided but, not on the beds. Owner advised that we should have called and informed her and she would have had someone fix the issues. Who wants to have cleaning or repair people rummaging around when they are on vacation. The facilities, pool, grounds, etc. were very nice. Unit just needs some love and attention. Will not house more than 3 people comfortably.

The present people that are there said they only had to get batteries for the remote for the fans and they work fine now. I definitely would have had someone drop off batteries for the fan remotes so they would work. The rules of the park is that we are not allowed to put an AC on the screened porch because it will make too much noise for the neighbors. That is their rule. Sorry the cleaning gal forgot the coffee grounds, but I have never ever had anyone complain that is was not clean. You can check out my other reviews that everyone else said the place was very clean. The reason I have the people put the clean sheets on the beds is because I want them to know they are clean and have been washed. The inside door does lock but it can stick so that is why I said to only lock the screen door. You can lock it fine when you are inside. It is the key that can stick. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a full bedroom downstairs, but it does say they are lofts upstairs on my site. They are fine for teenagers or kids. It can sleep 5 comfortably if 3 are kids. I do tell people I do not recommend the lofts for adults, but you said you were bringing your grandchildren. Most kids love the lofts. I would have most definitely had someone drop off a filter for the AC and batteries and they would not have even had to come into the trailer. So sorry you did not tell me at the beginning of your stay and we could have worked something out that you would not have been disturbed. But I am glad that you enjoyed the park as it is a great place for a vacation for the kids with the beautiful pools.

Remember to bring your own ....everything.

We arrived and there was a quarter roll of toilet paper left, no paper towel, no napkins....exc. The resort pool and hot tub was very nice and safe feeling. The trailer was clean enough and had lots of towels, sheets and dishes. Anything that could be used up like detergent, bleach, saran wrap, aluminum foil etc. there were none to be found. If you need any of these things be sure to bring your own.

I have been coming to Melbourne Beach for 20 years when my parents were here. We fell in love the the area and bought our own home here several years ago. Since we loved Outdoor resorts so much and had many friends in the park, we decided to buy a Park Model in the park also.. . If you have an electric car there is an extra fee for that.

Why they chose this property

There are so many things to do in Ourdoor Resorts. All my travelers love the Park and all the Amenities and the pools are gorgeous. The GOlf course is only a half mile away. Another plus

What makes this property unique

You are never bored staying in the Park and you meet so many people with the same interests. Boat launch for a small boat or jet ski. Kayaks welcomed.
