This was a very nice and comfortable cabin. It had plenty of room. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire and grilling hamburgers. The water was just a short walk.

The house is in a peaceful and serene spot tucked in a little cove. Not far from shopping or dining spots. Our kids loved they could run down to the dock and be able to skip rocks. The only downside were the dogs next door, especially after getting in at 3am the first night they woke us up probably around 630/7 barking nonstop for a couple hours and seemed to be aggressive through the fence when letting our dog out so we opted to keep her on her leash and just walk her any time she needed to go out.

The house is very clean and full of amenities. There are three full bedrooms however you have to go through bedroom 2 to access bedroom 3. We were a group of 6 so the 1 bathroom was taken a lot. The house advertises a boat dock, however, the water was so low we could not even fish from the dock let alone dock a boat. This is a nature problem not the hosts but the pictures do not accurately depict the current state of the property. Other than that there was plenty of parking and a nice outdoor fire pit. I would recommend this place to small groups and families that are not looking enjoy the water at its current level.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had an awesome time! Everything was clean and comfortable. Left our boats in the water by the dock during our stay. If you plan to do that bring about 300 ft of power cordThe host was very responsive and answered all our questions in a timely matter. Parking is tight if there are people staying in an RV under the cover but we managed. We always cook during our stays… would love to see more in the kitchen. We cook for 6Thanks for letting us stay in your home!!!

I needed a boat slip. When I ask host if there was enough water to launch my boat, he said yes. THERE WAS NOT, He lied to me. Neighbor has 5 aggressive dogs that are fenced, but owner lets out every time you walk outside and they barked constantly. Home was very clean and decorated really cute, but doesn’t make up for outside conditions. On a loud, busy highway. Other neighbors are very creepy too. We thought it was abandoned by the looks of it. Property on a very shallow cove. Communication was good until I ask for a discount for not being able to use boat slip.
Boat slip I was supposed to put my 19 foot bass boat…..hmmmmm…NO!
Note the ladder…I could not even tie up next to it.
Then host said I could use dock…not possible either.

Fishing trip

Over all it was good. The grass could have been cut, the AC struggled to keep the house cool, the back bedroom TV remote was missing so that TV didn’t work, no dish towels in the kitchen to dry the dishes off.

Everything was great, only problem was the lake is low at that time so it would be hard to get a boat to the dock. Nice and quiet area close to public boat ramps on lake fork.
