About this property

Quiet Neighborhood 2 Miles South Of Downtown. Large house can sleep 2-4 people.

If you're visiting Salem why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a great house and have all the amenities of home and relax.
This is my home and it is a three story home but this rental is just the main floor and it is in a quiet neighborhood with all the comforts of your own home. Main rental part has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, both queen size beds. 2000 sqft of living space. There is a separate basement unit of 1000sq ft and there is sometimes a guest staying there as well but if not then you may request to have the extra space of 1 bedroom and a day bed in the basement of the home. There's a spacious deck and shared patio off the back for private dining with a Traeger bbq. High end appliances in the newly remodeled kitchen. The art is mostly original glass pieces made by my dad as well as the lovely local artists in the Salem area. Driveway parking for 4cars and street parking. Basic cable tv with internet access for all your favorite shows. Large manicured lawns and colorful gardens. You'll love the light that comes thru the windows yet still the privacy of the location. Very easily accessible for wheel chairs. Not far from downtown Salem. Though the home is in the hills it's a nice walk of about 3/4mile to multiple bars and restaurants. If you need something at the house I'm sure I can accommodate, like a pre stocked fridge with food, just ask. Coming during the summer? Ask about a special deal if you're coming for a week or more. Check out local art fairs and Wednesday and Saturday markets! Any time of year is a good time for wine tasting but don't forget about those beer people too. If you just need an over night stay for up to two people just ask and I'll see if a room is available! I have a few air mattresses that can be set up any where in the house. The house is solar powered with 2 Tesla powerwalls for additional energy storage that powered the house at night and in the case of a power outage.

I do leave stuff in closets and cupboards and ask that you not mess with things left there. You are welcome to all spices and condiments on the fridge. If furniture is moved I ask that it gets placed back where you found it.
Most of all I want you to have fun and enjoy it but respect it. I usually have a guest in the basement or I myself stay down there but please be considerate of the living situation. The wood floors can be loud when wearing high heels and voices carry

Amazing stay in Salem

Our family came up for my daughter’s graduation and birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect accommodation. The property was beautiful, close to everything we needed, and nice to walk through. Cassi and her mother were so accommodating and kind. I cant recommend this property enough.

Beautiful Home

The home was located in a beautiful area close to town. We loved our stay and had such a great time with family and friends. Would have loved to stay longer! If i had to say one thing, the light in the main bathroom when turned on at night or early AM illuminates the ensuite bathroom and bedroom next door through the glass blocks. All in all we all had a lovey time.

We had an amazing stay at Cassi's beautiful and spacious home in Oregon! She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our process and stay. The house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our group of 3 couples enjoyed having our own bedrooms and bathrooms.We were in town for the 70.3 Ironman race, and Cassie's home was conveniently located close to the race site. The backyard and patio were the perfect spots to relax and unwind after our race. Lovely Home

This is a lovely home in a very nice residential neighborhood. It is within walking distance from parks, downtown, and specialty grocery stores. The yard is beautifully landscaped with lots of space for outdoor entertaining, including a deck, patio with fire table, and gardens. The inside is spacious and tastefully and comfortably furnished. Check-in and check-out was easy, and host Cassi was very easy to reach and most responsive to any questions or needs. I would stay here again.

Parents’ weekend at WU

Great house. Lots of light and rooms. Only small issue was no hot water in one of the downstairs’ showers. Wasn’t a problem big enough to call owner. Loved our stay. Loved the variety of foliage around the house. Will definitely rent again!

Beautiful Salem Home

Very nice property! Group of four friends stayed for a long weekend. The house is very spacious, clean and well lit. There are multiple outdoor spaces you can utilize. There is enough space to be together in the main rooms or to spread out and not feel on top of one another. The his tis very kind and prompt with replies if you need anything. Felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Beautiful and peaceful

Our stay at this home was everything we needed it to be...peaceful, beautiful and spacious. We came to Oregon for my father's funeral. We needed a space for our family to gather after the service and the outdoor space at this property was perfect. The host was very accommodating, the house itself was super clean and great decor while still feeling making us feel at home. The beds were so comfy. There was also tons of natural light. My favorite was the upstairs bedroom and waking up to the views from the big window up there. You will love this home. Our kids enjoyed it as well, especially spotting the occasional deer or turkey. Hopefully we'll get a chance to stay here again.

Graduation weekend

I needed a home to accommodate 6 adults and a location to host a small gathering of family and friends. Our hostess, Cassie was so helpful and accommodating.. Her home was perfect.. The home was spacious, beautifully landscaped. and exceeded all our expectations. . There are so many outdoor areas to gather comfortably. The indoors was spacious and elegant. We bbq’d, played corn hole and had plenty of seating. This location was picture perfect and I would recommend this hostess and home to others. This is a FIVE star home.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood

This was the perfect resting spot for our family while visiting the area. The house was very clean and modern. The outdoor patio area was amazing and the communication with the owner was excellent. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Centrally located for family event and exploring Salem

This home worked well for our family, with our elderly mom. The couch and furniture were high enough and firm. Cassie was great to work with and provided a wheelchair for us to use. We enjoyed Salem!

This is a safe, beautiful neighborhood. The kitchen is large and well stocked.

Perfect place for my extended family to meet and have meals. Restaurants are too loud. My granddaughter enjoyed picking wild blackberries. Just a wonderful setting.

Incredibly lovely place to experience Salem!

We had the most wonderful stay here during Willamette's grad weekend in 2019, we couldn't say enough good things about it! Cassi is incredibly diligent in her communication - all instructions were very clear, and she was easy to reach at all times. The house itself is *gorgeous*, with everything you might ever need for an easy stay in Salem...the rooms were perfect, the house beautifully decorated, and any and all items you may need to cook, etc. were available and easy to find. The views were just stunning (you can see all the way into the valley), and the location was so close to town to be super convenient, and yet you felt a little like you were in your own little world. We will *definitely* recommend this property to friends and family and will return in the future!

I can only hope to one day return to Oregon because if I do, I know where i will be staying! This house is beautiful and the owner is so helpful and friendly and goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy her home and have fun! We were here for a week long softball tournament and she made us feel right at home! One of the best experiences of our summer for sure!!!
