The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable for the family. It’s a nice spot to land central to all of the sites for NYC. A special touch was the ability to leave your bags pre checkin and post checkout to allow for more time to explore without the hassle of carrying luggage around.

There was no top sheet on the beds and it’s hard to trust that duvet covers are washed between guests. Space was lacking because a mattress was leaned against a wall that we didn’t need. I had sent several questions to the host before our arrival and no one responded. There is a desk in the lobby but we didn’t arrive until 10 pm so no one else was there to answer questions either. Walls and ceiling were dirty. There was hair from previous guests in the bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Gatsby Verbo — it’s stylish, clean, and has a great location close to everything we needed. The décor has a fun, modern touch that makes it feel special, and the check-in process was smooth and easy.A few small improvements would make it perfect: a bit more soundproofing from the street noise, bathroom doors that close fully, and a few more hooks or hangers on the walls for towels or clothes would be super helpful.Overall, a lovely stay and great experience!!
