The cottage is set in the heart of Old Inverness -- one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in California. Enjoy sublime walking in every direction. Hike or bike up the Mt Vision fire road to Inverness Ridge and sweeping views over the National Seashore and the Pacific Ocean. Or walk or bike or kayak to Shell Beach to swim and chill. Or saunter down to the village for dinner at the Saltwater Oyster Depot. Or simply relax on the deck watching the ever changing views of the bay and golden hills beyond.

We love this place. We are seeking like minded folks looking to settle in, stay awhile and get to know this amazing place. Folks who want to take a well-earned break from the daily grind to experience a different way of living. A yoga retreat? A writing sabbatical? A mid-life recharge? A retirement test run? Or simply a yearning to retreat to the laid back Inverness life for a few months. Minimum stay is 1 month. Pricing includes significant discounts for longer stays up to 6 months.

THE FINE PRINT...

1) We are in the process of updating the furnishings. They will be similar but not the same as shown in the post photos.

2) We are dog lovers but dogs are allowed only by permission. We live in a very tight knit neighborhood. Dogs must be mellow and well behaved. No mean breeds.

3) Cottage includes with high-speed internet and WIFI. We can up-grade speeds if you you are a heavy user but are sure you want to do that?

4) There is no TV in the cottage or studio. We prioritize getting out and enjoying the natural world around us. You are, of course, welcome to stream your devices or bring your own TV (we might even have one in the closet).... but again are you sure you want to?
