The 13th of Summer is a romantic get-away or a comfy family holiday cottage on the Marin/Sonoma coast. Be awed!

Note: the deck is secure for my 11 lb Maltese dog Sally Rose. The yard is not fenced.

Dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean, waves rushing up the shore. Grand sunsets from hug picture windows or even better from the deck with a glass of wine!

It's just a short five minute stroll to the beach.

When not watching sunsets or the sea, guests can enjoy the household surroundings. The cottage is filled with original paintings and sculpture by local artists. No need to work at a wood burning fire. An environmentally conscience gas burning stove is romantic for that fire-wood stove look, warmth and ambiance. The energy efficient gas heater keeps the cottage cozy.

Take a nap; watch the waves.! The westerly living room has an extra long down filled sofa, huge soft chair w/ ottoman and oak rocker. Lots of lamps make reading and close work enjoyable. The view is wonderful. The easterly sitting area is a cozy conversation or media area and has an overstuffed chair with ottoman and love seat.

An induction range and a refrigerator are in the kitchen. From the sink is a view of the front garden and from the stove, the sea. ATT phone service includes the continental USA is in the kitchen and master bedroom. Mircrowave, blender, food processor, Kenmore mixer, rice cooker, stick blender, toaster

New smart TV

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, blue leather wingback chair and oak dresser. Reading the paper, drinking coffee, and watching birds scamper along the shore make staying tucked in under the down comforter a morning pleasure.

The knotty pine bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed, antique oak dresser and upholster high-back chair. When standing by the windows, the bay and Bodega Head can be enjoyed. Beach chairs and blanket are in this closet

Upstairs and between the two bedrooms is a half-bath with sink and toilet.

Downstairs is the full bath with shower, toilet, sink,and, of course, a great view of the ocean.

The deck provides a great area to relax with teak chaise lounges, table and chair for taking in the view. A cozy and comfortable dining area with the grand Pacific Ocean before you makes inside dining a delight.

The comfy cottage at 13 Summer will reward you with romance and relaxation!

Check in is 4pm and check out is 11am. Note: there is pet fee of $50 for one large dog or two small dogs.

Parking is very limited in Dillon Beach. The cement drive-way along the south side of the house will accommodate one sedan or SUV. Non reserved parking is allowed across the street along the cement retaining wall. I ask that guests let me know ahead of time if they plan to plug in their electric..

Overnight guests are limited to 5 people.

Another great visit to Cherry's warm and inviting house! It's the perfect house for sitting on the deck and reading in the sun, or going down to the beach for a long walk with the dog. Really appreciated all the kitchen supplies and the well-stocked dog towels! We can't wait to come back again.

Recharge Retreat!

We had such a wonderful stay! The property is absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need, especially in the kitchen. The ocean views from both bedrooms were stunning and made each morning feel like a retreat. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge after a busy and demanding school year. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about the house! We felt at home the second we walked through the door. Super dog friendly house and a few minutes walk to the best dog beach we have been to. Love this House!

We have stayed at Cherry’s house multiple times and love to return to her cozy home whenever possible. Her kitchen is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Super comfortable beds and beautiful bedding. Wonderful views of the ocean from inside and back patio.

Peaceful Retreat

We LOVE our annual stay in Cherry's perfect, peaceful retreat. She is the best VRBO owner we have ever dealt with - she's more like a friend - and we are already looking forward to next year. The new induction stove and shower upgrades are a nice addition.

Beautiful family getaway

We stayed at Cherrys beach house for 3 nights. It was a perfect getaway for our family. The views are amazing. It's a short walk down to the beach. The beds are super cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were even thoughtful things for our small dog like a towel & shampoo. We loved curling up at night by the fireplace and watching the waves. Would definitely recommend this place for a family.

Complete Relaxation

The house was exactly as it was previewed online. Cozy, quite and very relaxing. This is the first rental we have stayed at that had a fully stocked kitchen!! The view of the ocean was amazing from both downstairs and the master bedroom. Will definitely try to stay there again next year!

We had a wonderful stay in Dillon Beach at this cozy little cottage! Everything was very clean and well cared for and also very homey and comfortable. Plenty of room for the four of us to relax between trips to the beach. Welcome chocolates were an added delicious bonus! Cherry has been doing this for a while and it shows!

Loved this place. My siblings and I "grew up" at this cabin when it was more rustic (beds lining the walls of the two upstaris bedrooms with enough room for all four of us to bring friends). We loved it then, and I'm sure my parents did because it was like a dorm, pretty indestructible. I look for something different now. This place has it. The best view, comfortable sitting rooms to read or visit around the table or on the deck, comfortable beds, so clean, parking, and a well-stocked kitchen (any cooking or baking utensil needed along with plenty of glassware & flatware). You can no longer take a troop of kids, but we're no longer looking for that. We definitely hope to return.

This was our first time at Cherry's and it won't be our last! Everything was perfect. The view from the deck is wonderful, it's a 5 min walk to the beach, the house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The chocolates upon arrival were divine. Thank you Cherry for everything!

Such a treasure!

We’ve been visiting Dillon Beach for many years, renting various homes in the village and in the hills above. This is the cleanest, most comfortable and most thoughtfully appointed house we’ve stayed in this far. And… the most incredible bookshelf to choose from!!! ❤️ What a beautiful home away from home! Great location with beautiful views.

Would love to rent again. Felt right at home had everything you needed. Loved the decor it was amazing, perfect for the beach. Just would have liked to been in at 4:00 check in but got in at 4:20 because it was still being cleaned. Also the driveway could only fit one SUV or truck or two small cars. We came with two big autos luckily we found a spot on the street. Still we enjoyed everything about the rental. Would definitely recommend.
