What a pleasant surprise walking in to a fully Christmas decorated house! With 4 couples staying in the house, each room having and en suite was awesome!! Plenty of room for visiting and enjoying one another's company.

Very Quiet and extremely Clean! Check in was super easy. The bedrooms were perfect for each family with their own bathroom facilities. The kitchen was the best set up for preparing our family meals. Overall The Kounce’s Home was the perfect place for our adult children and Spouses to rest, fish and reconnect after a few years of not seeing each other. Their back porch was so dreamy to watch the beautiful Louisiana sunsets. Oh and There were stores nearby. We had the perfect family weekend here, thanks to their beautifully built home and hospitality! Downstairs screen room was perfect for our Sunday family fish fry! We hope to come back on a long holiday weekend. Here are some of the beautiful views.

We recently became the new owners of this camp and live just 25 minutes away. As a local family, we love coming here to unwind—whether it's casting a line, cooking a good meal, or just sitting on the porch watching the sun go down. It's where we come to slow things down and spend real time together.

We’ve tried to keep the space simple, clean, and comfortable—something that works for a quiet weekend or a full house of family and friends. Whether you’re here to fish, relax, or explore Southwest Louisiana, we hope this place feels like home to you, too.

What makes this property unique

Each of the four bedrooms has its own private bathroom, making it perfect for groups or families who want both comfort and privacy. The large open floor plan gives everyone space to spread out, and the kitchen’s oversized island is great for gathering, cooking, or serving up the day’s catch. Step out onto the full-length back porch and take in the views. There is also a screened in porch with a bar and tv on the bottom floor.
