Thoughtfully converted into two separate apartments, this listing is for the entire upper-level apartment, blending historic elegance with modern comforts for a truly special stay.

About the Space:
When you arrive, you’ll enter through the front door around the house and be welcomed by a stunning entryway with a grand staircase leading you upstairs. The apartment features:

A cozy living room perfect for relaxing

A fully equipped kitchen ready for cooking

One spacious bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed

A second smaller bedroom with a single bed (note: this room faces a busy street and may experience some road noise)

A full bathroom with a shower

Laundry facilities are shared in the basement, accessible via a coded door around the back of the house—details will be provided after booking.

Important Notes:

The home is located on a main road; some traffic noise can be heard, especially during peak hours. Many guests find this manageable, but we want to be upfront for your comfort.

To keep nightly rates affordable, consumables like paper towels and toiletries are not replenished mid-stay. You’ll start with basics like toilet paper and hand soap.

Parking is available for 1 car in the driveway; no overnight on-street parking is allowed. Additional parking may be arranged with prior approval.

The bed was wonderful and very clean. Read the arrival instructions very closely because the parking address is different. After that minor confusion (my fault) the stay was great. It was easy to work remotely, with good Wi-Fi. Parking was good. Would stay again.

This property helped us have a great meetup with our daughter and new spouse. This property was a blessing, but also a bit complicated. Location was excellent! The pictures are accurate, the stairs are that steep, the bathroom and shower are tiny, and the property is a modestly renovated very old home (1910?) that has issues with that era; tiny bath & shower, plumbing that has low pressure and water temp varies in shower as you flush or water is used elsewhere in the complex. We had tremendous issues with a heat wave an our unit didn’t have independent temp control. The first day was really hot, then working with the owner incooperation with the lower level tenant (keeper of the thermostat), we got to an OK place 3 days in.We enjoyed being able to walk to downtown Anoka for coffee and breakfast, to Walgreen for supplies, and beautiful walks in the neighborhood each morning. Traffic noise was a bit of a bother, but that may be a cost of proximity to the heart of Anoka.Location A, facilities C, Temp control D, kitchen B.

It’s a nice property except for the stairs. I didn’t realize that everything was on the 2nd floor. The bathroom is very small & the shower had no mat in it to keep you from slipping. I’ve never stayed anywhere that asked you to replace things you used like toliet paper & paper towels. This is a difficult place to stay for older adults with mobility issues. The stairs are difficult to climb with only one railing on one side.

We also want to clarify that guests are never asked to replace supplies; we provide starter quantities of essentials, but what we tell you is, for longer stays, additional items may need to be purchased as we do not offer hotel-style replenishment service. We appreciate your comments and agree that the property may not be the best fit for guests with mobility concerns.
